Project Implementation Unit Tender

The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions, with a total value of work performed in the last five/seven years. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work with an updated completion cost of at least 40% of the proposed work's amount, within the last 5 years, with a completion rate of at least 90%. The bidder must have successful experience in completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar nature of building works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90 % completed as on the date of submission. The bidder should have experience of execution of all major items of works under the proposed contract. In the case of a joint venture, the weight towards experience of the project would be given to each joint venture in proportion to their financial participation in the joint venture. The Lead Member of the Joint Venture should have Rs. _________ Crores (75% of amount mention in, i.e. 30% of amount put to tender) and Other Member should have Rs. _________ Crores (51% of amount mention in, i.e. 20.4% of amount put to tender). The annual turnover for the bidder should be more than Rs. X Crore, where X is derived by dividing the amount put to tender by the time limit expressed in years for the project/work. For a Joint Venture, the Lead Partner must have an updated annual turnover of not less than Rs. 51% of X Crores, and the other partner must have an updated annual turnover of not less than Rs. 30% of X Crores. The bidder should have completed works with a value of B at the current price level, where B is the value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the period of completion of the work for which bids are invited. The number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which the bids are invited is denoted by N. The bidder's available bid capacity will be applied, and some of the bid capacity of all members should be more than 4.7. The bidder's prior work experience and completion of similar works will be evaluated, and they may be disqualified if they have made misleading or false representations, or have a record of poor performance. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - At least one similar work having updated completion cost not less than Rs. ________ Crores (40 % of the Amount put to tender of the proposed work). - Such work must have been completed/substantially completed within the last 5 financial years. - A work would qualify as similar work only if it meets with the given definition. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - 40% of the proposed work's amount - 90% completion rate - 30% of amount put to tender for Lead Member of Joint Venture - 20.4% of amount put to tender for Other Member of Joint Venture.
