The bidder should have prior work experience as a prime contractor, or as a nominated sub-contractor, where the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The experience should be in the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs. ----Crore for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works in anyone year, over the last five financial years. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five financial years. Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission. The contractor should have completed 60% of quantity of principal items of work like concrete, earthwork, pipeline, pumping station etc. within last five financial years. The bidder should also have access to, or have available, liquid assets (aggregate of working capital, cash in hand and uncommitted bank guarantees) and / or credit facilities up to 25 percent of the value of the contract/contracts applied. The bidder should provide information on the quantities of work executed, including the quantity of work performed for items such as Cement, Masonry, Earth, Bituminous work, Concrete (including RCC and PCC). The bidder should also provide information on the value of contracts completed, including the stipulated period of completion, actual date of completion, and remarks explaining reasons for delay. The bidder should provide details of projects completed, including the name of the project, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, actual date of completion, and remarks explaining reasons for delay and work completed. The total value of civil engineering constructions performed in the last five years should be mentioned by the bidder in Rs. Lakhs. No specific amount is mentioned for the minimum annual financial turnover.
