The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid can be calculated using the formula: Assessed Available bid capacity = (A*N*1.15-B) Where, A = Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last seven years (updated to the price level of the financial year 2018-2024 at the rate of 5% per year), taking into account the completed as well as works in progress). N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which bids are invited (period up to 6 months to be taken as half-year and more than 6 months as one year). B = Value, at the current price level, of existing commitments on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the works for which bids are invited. Additionally, the bid capacity required can also be determined by the total value of all contracts, which must be equal or more than the sum of the individual lot values, calculated as: Total Value ≥ N1 x V1 + N2 x V2 + N3 x V3. The bidder must also demonstrate adequate financial capacity to meet the cash flow requirements estimated as Rs.0.75 Cr (about 3 months cash flow at peak construction period) for the subject contract(s) net of the Bidder’s other commitments. The bid security required is Rs.3,34,570.00, which should not exceed 2% of the estimated value of works. Formulas for calculating the total amount are also provided, including: 1.
