The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions, with a total value of work performed in the last five years. The experience can be as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature over the last five years, and the value of these works should be mentioned in the bid document. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs----Crore for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works in any one year, over the last five financial years. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five financial years. The bidder should have completed 60% of the quantity of principal items of work like concrete, earthwork, pipeline, pumping station, etc. within the last five financial years. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing at least 3 similar works, each of a value of at least 40% of the estimated project cost, or 2 similar works, each of a value of at least 50% of the estimated project cost, or 1 similar work of a value of at least 80% of the estimated project cost. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of work executed in any one year during the last five years. For joint ventures, the available bid capacity will be applied for each partner to the extent of their proposed participation in the execution of the work. The total estimated cost for different types of works is mentioned as: - WRD Works: Rs. 7.5 crore - ROAD/BRIDGE/ BUILDING WORKS: Rs. 7.0 crore - Electrical Works: Rs. 0.5 Crore The bidder's available bid capacity at the expected time of bidding should be more than the total estimated cost of the works. A Solvency Certificate is required, which should be more than 20% of the Estimated Amount. The lead partner shall meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria given. The joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria.
