The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions, specifically in highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway. The required experience includes successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work with a value of at least 40 percent of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 percent completed as on the date of submission. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover (defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) in any one year, over the last five years of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. The bidder must have completed works of a similar nature over the last five years, with a specified value and quantity of work performed.
