The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder needs to provide details of projects completed, including the name of the project, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. The bidder also needs to provide quantities of work executed as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in the last three years, including cement concrete, masonry, earthworks, and bituminous work. In terms of value, the bidder needs to have completed works with a value of at least the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last three years. For specific works, the bidder needs to have completed works with a value of at least Rs. 5 lakhs to Rs. 15 lakhs, depending on the cost of the work. The percentage of similar works completed is at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract, and the substantially completed works should be at least 90% completed. The bidder should also have a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last three years.
