The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having an average annual financial turnover of at least 30% of the estimated cost, which is Rs. 0.75 Crore, calculated as 30% of the estimated cost of Rs. 2.50 Crores. The bidder should have experience in completing similar works during the last 7 years, with specific options including: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, which is Rs. 1.00 Crore (40% of Rs. 2.50 Crore). - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, which is Rs. 1.25 Crore (50% of Rs. 2.50 Crores). - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost, which is Rs. 2.00 Crore (80% of Rs. 2.50 Crores). The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor, with substantially completed works meaning those works which are at least 90% completed. Additionally, the bidder should have prior work experience with the availability of personnel with adequate experience as required and experience and resources sufficient to meet the aggregate of the qualification criteria for each contract. The bidder's available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of work executed in any one year during the last five years. The assessed available bid capacity is calculated using a specific formula. The bidder should also demonstrate having access to, or having available, liquid assets and/or credit facilities up to 25 percent of the value of the contract/contracts applied. The audited balance sheets for the last five years should be submitted, demonstrating the soundness of the applicant's financial position.
