Taking down existing batten type light fitting of any description & fixed in any position and S&F new clear white 20 Watt wall mounted 4 ft LED batten type decorative light fitting, minimum CCT 5700K, 230 Volts, 50 Hz, extruded aluminium housing & polycarbonate diffuser, fixed as per manufacturer's instructions and making necessary electrical connections and testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down existing batten type light fitting of any description & fixed in any position and S&F new clear white 10 Watt wall mounted 2 ft LED batten type decorative light fitting, minimum CCT 5700K, 230 Volts, 50 Hz, extruded aluminium housing & polycarbonate diffuser, fixed as per manufacturer's instructions and making necessary electrical connections and testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs MCB SP 6 to 32 Amp, 240 V, 50 Hz, AC supply, 10 kA, 'C' Curve, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out of suction pipe line upto 300mm bore from foot valve chamber and repair of foot valve including replacement of leather, nut bolts, washers and refixing of the same for smooth functioning of suction line complete all as directed.

M&L for greasing of ball bearings of 75 HP centrifugal pump sets with the help of grease gun complete all as directed.

S&F motor bakelite terminal plate having six terminals as per existing size / shape with copper alloy nuts, bolts and washers for 75 HP motor including taking down unserviceable terminal plate complete all as directed.

M&L for repairing cast iron sluice valve 150 to 300 mm bore flanged type of any make by dismantling the valve, replacing SS spindle, bolts, nuts, washers, gaskets, wedge nut etc, re-assembling and refixing the same in position including replacing the worn out gland packing & testing and make good complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing comprehensive preventive & periodical maintenance services for Water Filtration Plant (Rapid sand gravity type) approximate size 125 cum/ hr by Manning, Running & daily operation of Main Water Filtration Plant for Navy area including its allied plants, like alum/ lime mixture, gas chlorination plant, clariflocculator, flash mixer with operation of back wash pump and blower and blower motor as and when required & operation of all types of valves and rectification of minor defects if any, with & including daily, weekly & monthly periodic maintenance/ inspection for smooth & trouble free functioning of Water Filtration Plant on all days including Sunday & closed holidays by & including deploying sufficient manpower in three shifts per day, each shift of 08 hours (0600 hrs to 1400 hrs, 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs and 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs). Contractor shall deploy minimum One No. FGM & Two Nos Mate FGM per shift i.e altogether total 03 Nos FGM & 06 Nos Mate FGM in a day in addition to other workmen required for the work. Description of serial item No. 19 contd… (a) Daily Maintenance/ inspection: (i) Inlet & Outlet flow measurement in log book and operate valves to maintain optimal flow. If inlet flows less or not available of water. Operator immediately inform to JE E/M or Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) Sand bed inspection by removal of old signs of clogging or mud balls on the bed surface. If issues are detected, schedule backwashing or levelling. (iii) Test the turbidity, pH and other relevant parameters of the filtered water. (iv) Backwashing: Clean the filter bed by reversing the flow of water including air blower operation & ensuring it runs for the required time. (v) Chemical Dosing as per required PPM and Record the dosages applied. (vi) Water quality meets quality standards by Test the effluent for turbidity, pH, chlorine levels and other relevant parameters. (vii) General Plant Inspection by identify any operational issues or maintenance needs by checking for leakage, unusual noise and equipment conditions. Inspect piping, valves, pumps and other critical components. (viii) Logbook update for maintaining a detailed record of daily activities and observations. Ensure all inspections, tests and maintenance activities are logged. (ix) Clean up any spills or debris around the plant. Description of serial item No. 19 contd… (b) Weekly Maintenance/ Inspection: (i) Sand Bed inspection for any signs of compaction, channelling or uneven surface. Use a tool or probe to check the depth and consistency of the sand layer. (ii) Inspect the backwash water flow rate and pressure. Check the uniformity of backwashing across the filter bed. (iii) Calibrate chemical dosing pumps and sensors. Inspect and clean chemical storage tanks. (iv) Mechanical Equipment Inspection by inspecting all pumps, motors and valves for signs of wear, leaks or unusual noise and rectify by oiling, greasing and tightening of loose bolts or connections. (v) Piping and Valve inspection by inspecting all pipes and valves for leaks, corrosion or blockages. Operate each valve to ensure it opens and closes smoothly. Check pressure gauges and flow meters for accuracy. Clean or replace valve seals and gaskets if needed. (vi) Sludge removal and disposal if levels are excessive. Ensure proper disposal of sludge as per site availability and directions. Description of serial item No. 19 contd… (c) Monthly Maintenance/ inspection : (i) Filter Media inspection for checking of degradation, fouling or loss of material. Assess the need for replacement. (ii) Deep Cleaning of Backwash System to ensure even air distribution in scour during backwashing. (iii) Chemical Storage inspection for signs of corrosion. Leaks to prevent leaks or spills by valve seal/ gasket/ glands and tightening of joints. (iv) Mechanical and Electrical Equipment maintenance by Lubricating moving parts. Tightening of belts and couplings. (v) Inspecting electrical & water loose connections and tightening the connections of all control panels, switchgear for signs of wear, overheating or corrosion. Notes :- (i) The FGM shall have Educational Qualification of ITI certificate in relevant trade from Govt recognised Institute with minimum Three years of practical works experience. The Mate FGM shall have Educational Qualification of ITI certificate in relevant trade from Govt recognised Institute with minimum One year of practical works experience. (ii) Contractor shall produce all qualification & experience certificates, photos and police verification of all operators/ tradesmen before commencement of this contract to Engineer-in-Charge. After verification & satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, Tradesman shall be deployed to the respective installation. Description of serial item No. 19 contd… Notes Contd... (iv) Engine oil & DHPP for running the DG set as required shall be provided by the MES. Mate FGM shall be responsible of collection of ‘Engine Oil’ & ‘DHPP’ for DG Set from the store yard of AGE E/M Navy at INS Valsura, Jamnagar. Transportation for the same will be provided by MES. (v) Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining water as per standard requirement. (vi) Chemical application as per direction to maintain quality & standard water shall be contractor’s responsibility. However, chemical required shall be measured & paid separately. (vii) Electricity shall by supplied by the MES for utility services and maintenance of installation at free of cost. (viii) Documentation – Attendance register, Log Sheet, Break Down Register as per the format provided by the deptt and shall be prepared & maintained at contractor’s own cost. Contractor shall maintain Daily Log Sheet of the plant & submit on daily basis as specified and directed. (ix) Contractor shall provide proper dress to tradesmen as approved by Engineer-in-Charge and during duty hours all tradesmen shall be in proper uniform otherwise recovery @ Rs. 100/- per person per day shall be made from contractor’s dues. (x) Contractor shall strictly take all precautionary & safety measures while handling Chlorine Gas and Chloronome Plant. All safety equipment required for handling of Chloronome Plant, Chlorine Gas Container, Chlorine Gas, etc shall be the responsibility of contractor and workmen deployed by the contractor shall be fully trained for handling of the Chlorine gas equipment kept & installed at Plant. description of item contd…

(xi) Comprehensive/ Periodic maintenance means ensuring smooth functioning of filtration plant and feeding water to distribution line to Valsura duly maintaining quality of water levels at no extra cost. (xii) All Installation & surrounding area shall be kept neat and clean all the time by contractor’s workmen and quoted rate shall deemed to include this provision. (xiii) Bleaching powder, Acid, Wire Brushes, Brooms, etc. required for cleaning of all equipments and plants shall be provided by the contractor to workmen at his own cost. (xiii) Contractor shall provide all safety gears & PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to all workmen (xiv) T&P, Minor Parts/ Spares shall be provided by the contractor to keep the installation functional. Communication & conveyance arrangements shall be provided by Contractor to workmen at his own cost. (xv) The filter Plants shall be operated as per SOP of MES. The SOP for operation amended from time to time as per regulations. Contractor shall keep all the installations inside, outside & surrounding areas neat and clean. (xvi) Contractor shall made security pass for all tradesmen and maintain proper register duly signed by all concerned.

Supply and apply 100 Kg chlorine gas cylinder with & including chlorine gas having 99.9% purity, cylinder valve (ISI marked), safety cap, etc alongwith test certificate to get required PPM complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Chlorine Gas having 99.9% purity alongwith test certificate by refilling of empty gas cylinder all as directed. Note :- Empty gas cylinders of 100 Kg capacity shall be provided by the department at Water Filtration Plant. Transportation of empty gas cylinder for refilling the gas shall be contractor’s responsibility and quoted rate shall deemed to be included the same.
