M&L Preparation of existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed

M<ack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 at the rate 5kg/10 sqm complete all as specified and directed

M&L Premix bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness) with 75mm thick with 4% binder content ( paving bitumen VG-30) by weight of total mix laid and rolled with 8-10 tonne Power Roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed. Note : For 1.00 & 2.00 (i) Job mix formula for the Premix bituminous macadam shall be obtained from the institutes specified in the Particular Specifications. (ii) In case, as per actual design mix, the binder content by weight of total mix is less than 4 %, price adjustment shall be made as per average rate of all the purchase vouchers for bitumen pertaining to the work under this contract. If total binder content as per design mix is more than 4 %, no price adjustment shall be made for the same

M&L Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 30mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5 % paving bitumen (VG-30) as binder content by weight of total mix, using hot mix plant and mechanical paver a approved by GE, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne Vibrator Power Roller to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Job mix formula for Premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be got tested from the institutes specified in the particular specifications. (ii) Mix shall be obtained from hot mix plant and spreading shall be done by using mechanical paver. (iii) In case as per actual design mix, the binder content by weight of total mix is less than 5.5%, price adjustment shall be made as per average rate of all the purchase vouchers for bitumen pertaining to the work under this contract. If total binder content as per design mix is more than 5.5%, no price adjustment shall be made for the same complete all as specified and directed

M&L Prepration of black bituminous surfaces of road and applying 2.0 to 2.5mm thick as per IRC pattern with thermoplastic road marking point of approved quality white /golden / yellow as approved colour shade and make conforming to BIS: 3262-1989 with special applicator machine exceeding 10cm wide complete all as per manufacturer's instructions any as approved by GE Note : The rate included for provision of red signals to keep traffic from wet paint , cleaning road surfaces and working during odd hours when traffic is light

M & L Preparation of old painted brick, stone, plaster surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth not otherwise described for and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified
