Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in widt h as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth, all works up to any lead and lift, as directed b y the Engineer-in-Charge : In all kinds of soil

(2) Providing of necessary covers/ barricades around the work area shall be done prior to dismantling operations]

Earth work in surface excavation (not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) in all kinds of soil including getting out and disposal of excavated earth up to all lead and lift, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing,Bringing and Banking excavated earth in all kinds of soil, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, breaking clods, waterin g, rolling each layer with 0.5 tonne roller, or wooden or steel rammers, and rolling every third and top-most layer with power rolle r of minimum 8 tonnes and dressing up, in embankments for roads, flood banks, marginal banks, and guide banks etc., up to all leads and lift . [Notes: (1) For not rolling every third & top-most layer with minimum 8 Tonnes capacity power roller, deduction per cubic metre shall be made at the rate of Item No. 2.4 of CPWD DSR-2019. (2) For not watering the excavated earth for banking, deductionpe r cubic metre shall be made at the rate of Item No. 2.5 of CPWD DSR-2019].

Providing and laying common burnt clay F.P.S. (Non Modular) brick tiles of Class Designation 10 on roof, grouted with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) mixed with 2% of integral water proofing compound by weight of cement, over 12 mm layer of cement morta r 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) and finished neat, all complete as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade :New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 Kg/10 sqm)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:2:4 [1 cement : 2 coarse sand (Zone-III) derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources

Supplying and using water proofing compound like CICO, PUDDLE or any other approved brand with Cement Plaster/ CC/ RCC complete in a ll respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and directions of the En gineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, fabricating, erecting, placing and fixing in position M.S. structural works using rolled/ built up sections for truss, cl addings, bracings, purlins, supporting frames made of joists, tubes, pipes, channels, angles, plates, flats, bars etc. including cut ting to required size welding of joints, fixing anchor plates, including bolts, theading, nuts, washers, sleeves etc. including prep aration of detailed fabrication drawings & submission to the Engineer-in-Charge for approval before start of fabrication, supplying & applying painting with two coats of epoxy paint "EPILUX 155 High Build Enamel over a coat of "EPILUX 610" Primer of M/s BERGER or any other approved equivalent make as per manufacturer’s recommendation, complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, m aterials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Excluding the cost of concr ete work).

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thi ckness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc . as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. [Notes: (1) Length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment. (2) Precast C.C. kerb stones shall be approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new work

Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting ri vets, welding etc. including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead. [Notes: (1) Dismantling shall be allowed during day sh ift only & prior permission for the same shall be obtained. (2) Providing of necessary covers/ barricades around the work area shall be done prior to dismantling operations. (3) Cutting of steel shall be done using hack saw or chiesel or any other method as approv ed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
