Manufacture, supply and stacking of 50mm gauge nominal size machine crushed ballast of approved quality conforming to latest Railway/ RDSO specifications at approved locations on cess/ on prepared formation along newly constructed Railway formation. Note: (i) After supply and stacking, only 75% of the payment 01 shall be released, 15% shall be released after putting into track vide relevant item in schedule A1. Remaining 10% shall be paid after complete track linking work and verification of quantity with quantity as per actual ballast x- section/ profile of the linked track over finished stretches as per direction/approval of Engineer. (ii) Even after complete payment, the contractor is not absolved of their responsibility of preventing the theft/ loss of the ballast and any deficiency shall to be made up by the contractor at his own cost. For any deficiency not made up, a penalty @ two times the accepted rate for the deficient quantity shall be recovered from contractor's bills/other payments with Railways. (iii) Source of the ballast supply shall be required to be got approved by Railway before starting supply.

Leading and spreading of stone ballast in two stages i.e. (a) on the formation before laying the 01 track (b) in the track and point & crossings with contractor's labour, tools and plants with all lead and lift as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. This also includes making track bed of about 150mm-200mm thickness and rolling of the bed with mechanical rollers.

"Verification, alteration, modification as per field survey and providing assistance for finalization & distribution of award of submitted land acquisition proposal for private land/Government land. As per the proposal marking of points at site, verification of survey nos. with revenue records. Preparation of joint measurement sheet (JMS) as per point marked at site with DILR. Assistance for submission of dawa from land owner, assistance to official staff of Circle Office, in verification of paper submitted by land owner as well as joint verification of site with State Govt Officials and any other assistance required for preparation and distribution of award under section 23 at District Land Acquisition Office, Dhanbad. Preparation of certified land plan on tracing cloth in four copy and 01 possession under section 38. After distribution of award and possession of land, assistance in mutation of land for relieving and final marking the point at ground as per land acquisition made at 100m interval at boundary and at 200 m interval on centre line & at close interval at the location of curve. All point to be set with DGPS & all points and TBM along with traversing to be submit in Dy. CE(C) office. Payment Schedule: (i) 70% of the accepted rate will be made after completing the submission of dawa ,corrections of papers under section 19 if required etc completed, preparation of award under section 23 and made arrangement for payment to land owner, handing over of land to Railway from State Govt (ii) 10% after demarcation and fixing of land boundary pillar and (iii) 20% after completion of handing over of land on certfied land plan and completion of mutation of land to Railway. Note:-(i) Boundary pillars are provided by Railway. Rates of leading and fixing included."
