The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar works during the last 07 years. The similar works should be in the construction of Residential/Commercial Buildings. The bidder should have completed works with a value of either: (i) Three similar completed works each costing not less than Rs.88.66 lakhs, (ii) Two similar completed works each costing not less than Rs.110.82 lakhs, (iii) One similar completed work costing not less than Rs.177.32 lakhs. No specific percentage is mentioned. The bidder should submit a copy of the completion certificate and work order for the similar completed works. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of works executed in any one year during the last seven years, existing commitments and ongoing works. The bidder is required to furnish statements showing the value of existing commitments and ongoing works, as well as the stipulated period of completion remaining for each of the works. The formula for calculating the available bid capacity is: Assessed Available Bid Capacity = AxNx2 - B, where "N" = Number of years prescribed for completion of the subject contract, "A" = Maximum value of works executed in any one year during last seven years, "B" = Value at current price level of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed in the next 'N' years. The bidder should submit a statement showing similar completed works as per Form–8. The statement should include the name of the work, year, name of the party, address of the party, and value of the contract. Supporting documents such as work orders, successful completion certificates from clients, and other documentations should be provided to substantiate the similarity of work. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned. However, the bidder should have completed similar works during the last 07 years, and the total value of these works should be more than the total bid value.
