(A) NOTES FOR PACKAGED TYPE STP: (I) The sope of item starts from pumping arrangement of sewage from equalization tank (excluding equilizing tank) till discharge point of treated water into treated water tank. All piping, pumping and other necessary components in between whether indicated in description of item or not are deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be payable for providing a functional package type STP of capacity specified. (ii) The PCC platform of size 10m x 3.0m shall be provided for STP which shall be measured and paid seperately under Sch 'A' part-I. (iii) The scope of this item excluding Phase-II (Manning & Operation) shall be taken as 35% of rate quoted for this item

PHASE-II : MANNING AND OPERATION ( ITEM No 12.25 to 12.27) Manning and operation of STP 65 KLD capacity consisting of two shifts including Sundays and holidays including all connected electrical & Sewage Pumps items such as main switch, starter, change over switch, MCCB, voltmeter, ammeter, panel board etc, Sewage water pump, valve system, controlling system, daily checking , leakage, checking noise, cleaning of plant and its sorrounding area etc, by one FGM (skilled) per shift for 02 shifts in a day all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Shift Details TRADEMAN: 01 FGM x 02 shift per day =02 FGM per day Shift Timing :- Shift I : 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs (01 FGM) Shift II : 1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs (01 FGM) Note:- (i) Comprehensive maintenance of plant including replacement of any defective/worn out parts are covered under defect liability period of two years after completion of Phase-I. (ii) This item shall be taken as 65% of total amount quoted for the BOQ Item No 12.16 above (Supply, installation & commissioning of STP) for payment purpose. Yearly breakdown payment against this item shall be made as per following schedule during the period of Ten years. (a) After 1st year - 6.5% (b) After 2nd year - 6.5% (c) After 3rd year - 6.5% (d) After 4th year - 6.5% (e) After 5th year - 6.5% (f) After 6th year - 6.5% (g) After 7th year - 6.5% (h) After 8th year - 6.5% (j) After 9th year - 6.5% (k) After 10th year - 6.5% NOTE:- Yearly amount as above shall be paid in equal installments every month.

(i) Contractor shall deploy One skilled operator (FGM) for Manning and Operation of STP for period of 10 (ten) years after completion Phase-I (i.e 02 years during defect liability period and 08 years of O & M period) (ii) The contractor shall employ FGM having minimum qualification of ITI from recognised institute having sufficient knowledge and experience of minimum 02 years in manintanance/ operation of similar work. The operator must be competent to carry out the minor repairs/ maintenance of plant as directed by Engineer-in-charge (iii) The operater shall maintain the desired level treated water by dosing chemicals of required quantity provided in system including tracing out and rectification of minor leakages in pipe line/ valves during the O & M period (iv) The operator shall operate electrical equipement, pumps and maintain the STP in workable condition by checking daily leakages, noise, cleaning the plant and its surrounding areas of plant as directed. (vi The components/ spare parts required for repair/ maintenance of any defective fixtures during defect liability period of 02 years shall be arranged/ maintained by contractor, However during O &M period of balance 08 years required spares shall be provided by the department. (vi) Contractor shall pay the wages to employee as per minimum wages as laid down by Ministry of labour and revised time to time during currency of work and wages shall be paid to respective employee through Adhar linked bank account only. The statement of payments shall be furnished to the Engineer-in-charge time to time for verification for processing the monthly RAR/ bills (vii) The contractor shall pay all statutory payments towards EPF & ESIC..etc as applicable and shall produce the details of payments made to the Engineer-in-charge time to time. The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive these factor including applicable taxes.

(ix) The contractor shall maintain all registers under various rules, and shall be produced to the Engineer-in-Charge as well as officers detailed by central labour department. (x) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for cost of labour for daily routine maintenance for trouble free functioning of installation. (xi) In case of any abnormal noise/ complaint, the plant should be put off and same should be brought to the notice of Engr-in-charge. (xii) The operator employed by the contractor shall be capable of carrying out minor repair/ maintenace should have experience in operation of STP as applicable. (xiii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of cotton waste, cleaning material etc & Contractor will ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis. (xiv) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of tools & testing instruments required for operation & maintenance of STP plants. (xv) The rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. In case of failiure to provide tools kit & safety kit (spanner sets, hand gloves), a penalty of 3000/- will be recovered and levied. (xvi) The contractor shall provide 02 uniforms to each operator and design of uniform shall be got approved. In case failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per uniform will be levied and recovered from their dues. (xvii) In case of failiure due to absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day's Manning & Operation derived from pro rate of Sch 'A' quoted rates. (xviii) The Contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsover maintenance is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and shall obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge every fortnightly. (xix) The contractor shall provide board at proper location near each installations duly writing the name of operators and Mobile Numbers shifwise. (xx) In case of non funtion of STP Plant panel recovery @ 3000 per day shall be effected 24 hrs after the defect is noticed or notified.
