SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT (A) Supply, Installing, testing and commissioning of Sewage treatment plant based on principle of aerobic attached growth non clogging randomly moving bed bio reactor (MBBR) with primary, secondary and tertiary treatment process domestic sewage treatment plant having capacity of 65 KLD STP with Anoxic System as per NGT norms along with interconnecting equipment and setting up of in-plant laboratory for physical, chemical and bacteriological analysis inclusive of all glassware, testing chemicals and culture, testing tables and furniture, manuals, register, logbooks etc.comprising following accessories / equipment as per the OEM specification and drawing to achieve the indicated parameters mentioned in the tender documents complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge including following equipments/ spares.

FG-200 CI body conforming to IS 210: 2009, seat having EPDM rubber lining, CF 8 stainless steel disc, AISI- 410 stainless steel stem, 2.4 MPa body test pressure & 1.6 MPa seat test pressure and standard flange end conforming to BS 10 Table D/E & ANSI B 16.1 CI- 125, duly insulated (a) 65 mm NB - 03 Nos (b) 40 mm NB - 03 Nos (M) NOTES FOR PACKAGED TYPE STP: (I) The scope of item starts from pumping arrangement of sewage from equalization tank (excluding equilizing tank) till discharge point of treated water into treated water tank. All piping, pumping and other necessary components in between whether indicated in description of item or not are deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be payable for providing a functional package type STP of capacity specified. (ii) The PCC platform of size 10m x 3.0m shall be provided for STP which shall be measured and paid seperately under Sch 'A' part-I.

PHASE-II : COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION (Item No 12.32 to 12.35) (For the period of 120 months after completion of Phase-I) (A) Comprehensive Maintenance: The scope of comprehensive maintenance includes maintenance of complete infrastucture under this work and replacing all defective components and restoring any defect/ deformity/wear and tear during defect liability period of two years and comprehensive maintenance of all STP components under this job, Sl. Item No 01, 02, 04 & 05 of Schedule 'A' Part-I and all pumps and LT panels in the scope of entire tender for further period of eight years after completion defect liability period. The scope shall also include comprehensive maintenance of all electrical & Sewage Pumps items such as main switch, starter, change over switch, MCCB, voltmeter, ammeter, panel board etc, Sewage water pump, valve system, controlling system, daily checking, leakage, checking noise, cleaning of plant and its surrounding area etc, as per manuafactures instructions and as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE: (a) Comprehensive maintenance includes replacement of all defective/ worn out/damaged parts with new parts and nothing eatra shall be paid on this account except the payment specified in this item. (b) The contractor shall be responsible for periodic maintenance, as per maintenance schedule and specified including renewal / replacement of parts, lubricants, fittings/ fixtures, filling of bacteria, etc required for smooth functioning of the plant as per manufactures instructions. (c) The rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for maintenance. (d) The cosumable chemicals like sodium hypoclorite and chlorine shall only be supplied by GE for treatment of sewage and all other spares/ consumable are to be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. (e) Electricity for running of plant will be provided by GE.

(f) The Contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsover maintenance is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and shall obtain the signature of Engineer-in-Charge every fortnightly. (g) The contractor shall provide display board at proper location near each installations duly writing the name of all concerned who are maintaining and running the plant. (h) In case of non functioning of STP plant, penal recovery @ Rs. 5000/- per day shall be effected starting 24hrs after the start of period on non functioning. (j) The installations shall remain in posession of the contractor for complete period of comprehensive maintenance and he shall be resposible for keeping the plant in running. (k) Any penalty imposed by regulating authorities related with upkeep of STP and quality of effluent shall be borne by contractor during the period and nothing shall be paid on this account. (l) The sludge produced from any component of STP shall become contractors property and shall be removed from site as early as possible. The rate shall quoted accordingly

(B) OPERATION OF THE PLANT Operating and keeping the STP of 65 KLD capacity in running/ operational condition by deploying required technical staff to produce the treated effluent of specified quality including Sundays and holidays including all connected electrical & Sewage Pumps items such as main switch, starter, change over switch, MCCB, voltmeter, ammeter, panel board etc, Sewage water pump, valve system, controlling system, daily checking , leakage, checking noise, cleaning of plant and its sorrounding area etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. NOTE: (i) Contractor shall deploy skilled operator (FGM) as per requirement for Operation of STP for period of 10 (ten) years after completion of Phase-I (ii) The contractor shall employ FGMs having minimum qualification of ITI from recognised institute having sufficient knowledge and experience of minimum 02 years in maintenance/ operation of similar work. The operators must be competent to carry out the repairs/ maintenance of plant as required (iii) The operaters shall maintain the desired quality treated water including tracing out and rectification of minor leakages in pipe line/ valves during the period (iv) The operators shall operate electrical equipement, pumps and maintain the STP in workable condition by checking daily leakages, noise, cleaning the plant and its surrounding areas of plant as directed. (v) The contractor shall maintain all registers under various rules, and shall be produced to the Engineer-in-Charge as well as officers detailed by central labour department. (vi) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included for cost of labour for daily routine maintenance for trouble free functioning of installation. (vii) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive all consumables required for comprehensive maintenance & operation of STP except sodium hypochlorite and chlorine.

(viii) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of tools & testing instruments required for operation & maintenance of STP plant. (ix) The sludge cakes procured after treatment shall become contractors property and shall be removed from premises of STP as early as possible. The rate shall be quoted accordingly. (C) PAYMENT TERMS FOR COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION (a) Yearly breakdown payment against this item (Phase-II) shall be made as per following schedule during the period of Ten years. (a) After 1st year - 4.50% (b) After 2nd year - 5.00% (c) After 3rd year - 6.50% (d) After 4th year - 8.00% (e) After 5th year - 9.00% (f) After 6th year - 10.00% (g) After 7th year - 12.00% (h) After 8th year - 13.50% (j) After 9th year - 15.00% (k) After 10th year - 16.50% NOTE:- Yearly amount as above shall be paid in equal installments every month after satisfactory report to be given by GE
