(15) Voltage regulations shall be performed by IGBT driven PWM inverter operating at around 20 KHZ switching frequency with typical voltage correction time of 20 ms (one cycle for 50 Hz supply) so that output voltage complies with the rquirements of ITIC curve for regulated voltage supply to electronic machinery.
(16) Voltage regulation should be achieved by super imposition of PWM wave on incoming wave, without anti brake in the power path.
(17) Static voltage regulator should use only static parts for real time voltage correction. It should not use any such moving parts like relay or brush which limits the rate of correction of voltage regulation.
(18) There should be no mswitching in the power path, current interruption, transition or step changes duiring voltage reulation.
