(d) Power supply for operation of electric equipments & pump sets shall be made available by the department free of cost. (e) The contractor shall not employ same tradesman continuously for more than 11 months during the contract period of 11 months. (f) The unit rate quoted shall deemed include for maintenance for earthpits, cutting & removing of vegitation and upkeep of the surrounding area all around the bldg upto 6m from the plinth protection all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 2000/- per month per installation will be levied and recovered from dues.(g) The contractor shall provide 02 pair uniforms (Paint, shirt, shoes, cap, belt and name plate) to each operator/valveman within 15 days from the date of commencement of the contract and design of uniform shall be approved by Engr-in-Charge. In case of failure, a penalty of Rs 100/- per day per uniform per operator shall be recovered and levied from dues of contractor. (h) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of safety gear & required tools for minor maintenance. The contractor shall provide 02 Pairs of Gum Boot & 02 Pairs of Hand Gloves & 01 set of complete tool kit (adjustable spanner, cutting pliers, pipe wrench, screw drivers, chargeable torch & tester etc) of reputed make as approved by Engr-in-Charge. In case of failure to provide tools kit & safety kit a penalty of Rs 5000/- per installation as mentioned under Item No. 1 & 2 shall be recovered and levied from dues of contractor.

(j) The contractor shall maintain proper records of all kinds of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly or whatsoever maint is carried out during contract period in a binded book / register and shall obtain the signature of Engr-in-Charge every fortnightly. In case of failure to maintain proper records a penalty of Rs 1000/- per month per installation as mentioned under Item No. 1 to 2 shall be recovered and levied from dues of contractor. (k) In case of absence of operative staff, the contractor shall be liable to pay compensation at twice the cost of a day’s Manning & Operation derived from pro rata rate of Sch ‘A’ quoted rates. (l) The contractor shall pay the wages to the operator through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts and credit to their bank account. The wages shall not be less than prevailing minimum wages fixed/ increased at time of payment by state Govt or central Govt whichever is more. The contractor shall pay the full wages of every month to the employees/operators within 07 days of next month without fail. If contractor fails to pay the wages to the employees/operators within 07 days of next month, a penalty of Rs 500/- per day per operator shall be recovered and levied from dues of contractor. (m) The contractor shall pay the full wages to the employees/operators and EPF to concerned authority as per existing rules and produce the necessary proof of the same before claiming/submission of RAR/Bill.

(n) Each shift duration shall be 8 hours & duty timing shall be decided by Engr-in-Charge. (o) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for cost of labour for daily routine maintenance for trouble free functioning of installation. (p) In case of any abnormal noise/complaint the plant should be put off same should be brought to the notice of Engr-in-Charge. (q) The operator shall check the gland, vibration, nut bolts daily & tightening up as and when required. (r) The operator shall check battery terminals, if found loose, tighten it property. (s) The operator employed by the contractor shall be capable of carrying out minor repair maintenance & should have well experience in electrical panel, motor, pump set & fire fightings field etc. (t) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of cleaning material like cotton waste, broomstick, ladder etc & contractor shall ensure general area cleanliness and upkeep of the installation on daily basis. (u) The routine preventive maintenance /checks shall be strictly carried out by the operator all as stipulated in the operation & maintenance manual.

(v) The contractor shall maintain the attendance register, duty roaster and produce the same to Engr-in-Charge on daily basis. If contractor fails to produce the same, a penalty of Rs 100/- per day per installation shall be recovered and levied from dues of contractor. (w) If user raised any complaint in verbal/writing on disciplene ground in respect of any operator, the contractor shall remove the said operator from his job/duty forthwith and provide the suitable replacement.
