Background: the Spm Section Is Seeking To Procure The Necessary Decking For Warehouse Racks Located In The New Main Fap Warehouse In Bogotá At Avenida Calle 22 #68b-75 Bogota-colombia. general Instructions: 1 The Contractor Shall Provide Metallic Wire Mesh Decking For Semi-heavy Shelfs Which Must Be Manufactured With The Highest And Latest Quality Standards And Capable Of Supporting Loads Of At Least 2000 Lbs; Those Decks Must Also Pass Any Capacity And Warehouse Safety Inspections That Would Be Performed By Subject Matter Experts. 2 Materials Required: Each Metallic Deck Should Be Manufactured In High Strength Steel Wire With A Minimum Of 3 Metallic Reinforcement Supports. 3 Specifications: - Each Deck Should Have A Minimum Of 3 Metallic Reinforcement Supports. - Each Deck Must Be Galvanized. - Each Deck Must Fit ¾” Step Style Beams 4 Quantities And Dimensions Sought: - Quantities: 2112 Units. - Dimensions: Maximum Width = W: 46 In Exact Depth = D: 42 In Maximum Mesh Size = 2.5 In X 4 In *its Highly Recommended That The Contractor Physically Verifies The Provided Dimensions Before The Production Or Delivery Stage Of This Procurement Process*. * Either Serviceable Condition Secondhand Units Or Brand News Are Acceptable*. 5 The Contractor Shall Be Responsible For Providing All Personnel – Administrative, Managerial, And Direct Labor To Perform The Delivery And Installation Of These Decks Throughout The Warehouse Racks. 6 The Contractor Will Be Responsible For Providing All Supplies And Tools Required To Execute This Contract. 7 The Vendor Shall Be Responsible For Providing Properly Trained Personnel In An Adequate Number To Complete All The Corresponding Installation Tasks For The Areas Indicated Each Service Day. Further, The Vendor Must Ensure That All Personnel Perform Their Duties In Compliance With The Colombian Government Environmental, Industrial Safety And Occupational Health Laws, Guidelines, And Practices. Contractor Employees Shall Be On Site Only For Contractual Duties And Not For Other Business Purposes. 8 It Is The Responsibility And Obligation Of The Contractor To Ensure That All Staff Working On This Contract Meets The Requirements And Laws Of The Ministry Of Social Protection, Including Eps And Arl Are Current In Payments. 9 The Contractor Shall Maintain Discipline At The Site And Shall Take All Reasonable Precautions To Prevent Any Unlawful, Riotous, Or Disorderly Conduct By Contractor’s Employees. The Contractor Shall Preserve Peace And Protect Persons And Property On Site. The Government Reserves The Right To Direct The Contractor To Remove An Employee From The Worksite For Failure To Comply With The Standards Of Conduct. The Contractor Shall Immediately Replace Such Employee To Maintain Continuity Of Services. duties And Responsibilities: 1 The Contractor Shall Professionally Deliver And Install High Quality Warehouse Decking. 2 The Contractor Is Responsible For Any Damage Caused To Usg Property During The Delivery, Movement, And Installation Process. 3 The Delivery Or Installation Processes Of These Decks Shall Not Disturb Or Damage Any Fixed Property (including Light Fixtures, Baseboards, Painted Walls, Wood Built-ins And Cabinets. The Contractor Shall Protect Them And If Removed Will Return Such Property To Its Original Position. The Contractor Shall Clean All The Areas And Have Them Free Of Litter And Debris. 4 Contractor’s Staff Will Strictly Follow All Embassy Notices And Policies That May Have An Impact In Their Work. 5 Contractor Shall Schedule Periodic Cleaning So That It Causes Minimal Disruption To The Normal Operation Of The Facility. The Pocs Shall Determine The Works Schedules Which Should Meet The Needs Of The Facility. 6 Contractor Employees Will Be Allowed To Use The Designated Locker Rooms And Day Lockers. All Rooms And Areas Will Be Kept In Order. The Poc And Other Embassy Personnel (rso, Management, Fac) Shall Be Able To Inspect These Areas At Any Time. type Of Services: 1 The Contractor Is Responsible For The Delivery And The Installation Of Metallic Panels That Should Cover The First Three Levels Above The Floor Of Each Outer Racking Position Currently Installed In The Warehouse. management And Supervision: 1 The Contractor Shall Be Responsible For Quality Control. These Visits Shall Be Surprise Inspections To Those Working On The Contract. The Contractor Shall Preserve Peace And Protect Persons And Property On Site. The Contractor Shall Enforce No Sleeping While On Duty, Unreasonable Delays Or Failures To Carry Out Assigned Tasks, Conducting Personal Affairs During Duty Hours And Refusing To Render Assistance Or Cooperate In Upholding The Integrity Of The Worksite Security. 3 Disorderly Conduct, Use Of Abusive Or Offensive Language, Quarreling, Intimidation By Words, Actions, Or Fighting Shall Not Be Condoned. Also Included Is Participation In Disruptive Activities, Which Interfere With Normal And Efficient Government Operations. 4 Intoxicants And Narcotics.
