The United States Government (usg) Is Seeking Contractor Services To Refurbish And Restore The Kitchen In A U.s. Embassy-owned Residence In Mexico City. The Scope Includes Improving The Original Condition Of Finishes, Drywalls, Floor And Wall Tiles, Sinks, Countertops, Lighting, Outlets, And Exhaust Systems. This Project Is Being Solicited On Behalf Of The Embassy, In Collaboration With The Department Of State's Bureau Of Overseas Buildings Operations (obo). This Effort Will Have An Estimated Value Between $25,000 And $100,000 U.s. Dollars, Per Far 36.204 (b). the Selected Contractor Will Be Fully Responsible For Performing All The Necessary Work Including, But Not Limited To Temporary Partitions To Isolate The Renovation Areas; Removal Of The Existing Kitchen Cabinetry; Replacement Of Drywall Sheets, Electrical, Plumbing, Masonry And Finishing Work; Special Disconnections Of Fixtures, Appliances, And Accessories Are Required To Facilitate Improvement. The Refurbishment Shall Use Only High-quality, First-class Materials (all Properly Evaluated And Approved By The Project's Contracting Officer Representative (cor)). all Construction Contractors That Respond To The Solicitation Must Be Technically Qualified And Financially Responsible To Perform The Work.
