Details: The management of water resources is a major issue for food sovereignty, particularly in the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region. Depending on the territory, water and hydrological balances are contrasted and have strong impacts on systems: access and efficient management of water resources, disruption of water and plant cycles. Extreme climatic incidents which degrade the system accentuate the artificialization of soils whose retention capacity is weakened. Non-irrigated sectors are subject to difficult production conditions, and new needs may arise for crops that are usually little or not irrigated. Conversely, 20% of the Sau is irrigated, which partially secures access to water in these territories and should guarantee a certain level of production. However, the irrigation needs of currently irrigated crops are increasing due to more intense droughts and the calibration of irrigation equipment is often approximate and not very efficient. Tensions between users are strengthening and becoming acute, imposing drastic regulations and restrictions in places. Agriculture, in Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur, benefits from recognized regional expertise and transferable skills. Technologies for Precision Piloting Are at the Point. Increasingly Experimental Agroecological Approaches Are Proven. Optimizing water resources is therefore possible, but the adaptation solutions are numerous and complex. Faced with this context, the Vivea Paca Committee is launching this specific call for tenders in support of a global project aimed at strengthening the resilience of their system.

Details: If the health crisis linked to Covid 19 has put food sovereignty back at the heart of society's concerns, agriculture remains regularly singled out regarding its practices (animal welfare, protection of the environment, protection of Biodiversity, Water Resource Management, etc.). Farms are opening up more and more to the public, farmers are showing themselves more and more on social networks, events aimed at bringing together citizens and stakeholders in agriculture are increasing and professional managers are regularly contacted by The Media. So many situations in which the quality and relevance of communication are decisive. It is becoming essential for agricultural business managers to know how to both listen to the questions asked and communicate in an enthusiastic, efficient and fluid manner, regardless of the communication medium used. It is clear that currently, they are little accustomed to practicing this exercise while their “detractors” know perfectly well how to use the means and techniques of communication. This call for tenders follows the specific call for tenders “Communicating about your profession” launched by the Upper Normandy Territorial Committee in 2020, immediately taken up by the Lower Normandy Territorial Committee which ended on December 31, 2022. This call for tenders did not make it possible to mobilize training organizations and trainees, yet this theme remains relevant. This is why the Normandy Regional Committee has decided to continue its reflections by launching a second call for tenders to develop a training offer in positive communication and dialogue in connection with Priority 1 of the 2021-2026 Strategic Plan which provides for this Training Development Axis: Improving dialogue with society and the attractiveness of professions.

Details: The Context: Faced with climate change and input inflation, it is crucial for farmers to understand how these changes will influence their costs and income. Indeed, new working methods and new cultures can provide solutions, but their economic viability is difficult to assess. Several Issues Were Identified by Elected Officials of the Rhône-Alpes Territorial Committee During Participatory Work Concerning the Financial Management of Operations Faced with the Current Context: The Relocation of Production Fluctuations in Raw Material Prices Environmental Regulations And Constantly Evolving Food Safety. The Recent Problem of the Sale of Value-Added Products (Organic, Labeled). Diversification as a Solution to Economic Resilience. Initial Training in Agriculture Does Not Always Cover All Aspects of Financial Management The Results of the Survey Among Beneficiaries in 2022 of Financial Management Training Reveal That 41% of Respondents Are Not Satisfied with the Profitability of Their Farm, Putting Thus, there is evidence of a pressing need for improvement in this area. Although 83% of operators say they are competent in terms of controlling production costs, a significant proportion of 45% have not taken into account the consequences of inflation on these costs. This Highlights the Need to Strengthen Their Financial Analysis Skills to Take into Account Changing Economic Factors. This survey also highlighted that 60% of participants expressed the desire to find room for progress to improve the profitability of their operations. However, 45% of them have not yet managed to identify opportunities for such improvements. These results highlight a need for support to help these farmers identify and exploit new areas of progress to develop their profitability. Analysis of the Results Also Indicates a Predominantly Negative Sentiment Among Respondents Regarding Their Level of Financial Management Skills, With a Net Promoter Score (nps) of -33, Suggesting a Significant Need for Skills Building in This Area . In Conclusion: The Data From Our Survey Justifies the Importance of Investing in the Training of Farmers in Financial Analysis. These training courses are essential to help them understand their situation, identify economically viable areas for progress, and thus contribute to strengthening the profitability of their farms, ensuring their resilience in the face of economic and environmental challenges, and promoting sustainable agriculture.

Details: The Eu Bioeconomy Strategy Envisions Cities To Become Circular Bioeconomy Hubs, Where Biowaste Is A Raw Material For Safe And Sustainable Bio-based Products. Lipor Has A Circular Economy Strategy Aligned With European And National Policies, Such As The European Circular Economy Action Plan, The Circular Economy Action Plan For Portugal And The 2030 Agenda For Sustainable Development. At Lipor, "waste" Is Managed As "resources", Transforming Them And Placing Them On The Market, Returning To The Value Chain. However, The Availability Of Suitable And Efficient Technology Is Still A Gap. Therefore, Lipor Intends To Optimize The Operation Of The Future Anaerobic Digestion Of Biowaste (food Waste From Selective Collection), And The Associated Wastewater Treatment Plant, Treating The Liquid Fraction Of The Digestate (liquid Effluent, After Phase Separation), Which Will Not Be Recirculated To The Digester, In Order To Comply With Wastewater Treatment Requirements And Recover Phosphorus And Ammonia Nitrogen, Producing Marketable Products. Both Nitrogen And Phosphorus Are Valuable Nutrients, Essential In The Composition Of Fertilizer Products And Of Interest For Agriculture. There Are Similar Anaerobic Digestion Plants With Wastewater Treatment Plants To Treat The Effluent. However, The Aforementioned Wwtp Removes, But Does Not Recover, Ammoniacal Nitrogen And Phosphorus.
