Lot 1) Cleaning services for the EFSA headquarters in line with environmentally friendly practices. Award of 2nd and 3rd FWC in cascade.

Lot 2 — Maintenance services for the EFSA headquarters in line with environmentally friendly practices. Award of FWC — the first in cascade. Award of FWC — the second in cascade. The possible future award will follow.

Lot 2 – Provision of plain language summaries (PLS) of EFSA scientific outputs that are accessible for informed non-technical audiences. This contract award notice is relative to the second framework contract (FWC) in cascade for lot 2. Lot 1 – (Part 1) Development of integrated communication campaigns and (part 2) development of multimedia and online communications-related services as stand-alone products. Contract award notice for the third framework contract in cascade.

The overall objective of the contract resulting from this procurement procedure is to develop an on-line, living risk assessment tool, to assess the risk for zoonotic and animal diseases using a holistic, one-health approach, in which the risk assessments are updated automatically.

This call for tenders is being launched by the European Food Safety Authority and aims at providing to EFSA multiple framework contracts for the provision of scientific services of methodological support for literature reviews for evidence-based scientific assessments. Such support may be requested to perform and/or appraise full or part(s) of systematic reviews (SRs), as well as scoping and narrative literature reviews.

In compliance with the Staff Regulations and CEOS (conditions of employment of other servants of the European Union) in relation to the personal health of staff, identify, for a period of maximum 4 years, internal medical services for EFSA to carry out a number of services including a medical adviser, as well as a medical centre to carry out pre-employment and annual medical visits for EFSA staff, medical controls of absences, psycho-socio support, wellbeing initiatives, and other services.

The objective of the contract resulting from the present procurement procedure is the provision of a foresight study, which aims at looking how the future use of the ocean resources in a context of global changes could impact food and feed safety.

The overall purpose of the contract resulting from this call for tender is to develop a roadmap for action that will characterise the current state of play on animal welfare risk assessment and identity what needs to be done to achieve EFSA’s vision.

With this procurement EFSA aims to implement and further develop the piloted EWS in the already existing MMT and update the list of target wild bird species recommended by EFSA for passive surveillance of HPAI to complement the EWS at country level.
