The objectives of this call for tenders are the provision of annual surveillance reports on avian influenza and the development of an interactive dashboard for avian influenza data and its regular update.

The aim of this procurement is to conclude a direct contract to outsource the preparatory work for further implementation of a harmonised feed classification system and development of a EU feed consumption database.

The EFSA NAMs project goal is to demonstrate that the identified data gaps can be covered using NAMs instead of requesting new in vivo studies.

The overall objective of this project is to develop, establish and test a scheme for the identification and analysis of food fraud incidents as drivers for emerging risks in food and feed safety, facilitating EFSA emerging risk intelligence gathering activities.

With this call for tenders, EFSA aims to outsource the development of a platform for the benefit of the EUBP and to enhance standardised data collection and sharing on bees and pollinators.

The overall objective of the call is the selection of a contractor for the provision of ‘TKplate 2.0: An ppen source platform integrating physiologically-based kinetic and physiologically-based kinetic-dynamic models and machine learning models for risk assessment of single and multiple chemicals and biological stressors in animal species'.

The main objective of the call is to design and conduct a set of NAM-based experimental studies for addressing the current data gaps identified above and to offer a proposal for including the results in the regulatory risk assessment of essential oils as feed additives for consumers exposed via food. The studies should cover the elements identified below: — assessment of qualitative and quantitative differences and similarities in metabolic competences across different target species for essential oils components identified by EFSA; — in vivo extrapolation of the results obtained and comparison among species.

The contractor should be able to develop and conduct online training courses for EFSA staff, members of EFSA panels and the EFSA scientific committee, members of EFSA working groups and networks, and corresponding experts from the member states in applying the methodology described in the EFSA guidance on expert knowledge elicitation in food and feed safety risk assessment. The training will be synchronous online courses delivered through a platform e.g. MS Teams. The general objective of the contract resulting from this procurement is to develop and conduct online training courses on Expert Knowledge Elicitation (EKE).

The subject of these tender specifications is the selection of one or two contractors capable of: a) undertaking civil works, plant engineering and works that may concern sectors such as carpentry, painting, etc. for specific interventions with the use of eco-friendly practices and materials; and b) undertaking the rehabilitation works for the ‘Board Room’ of the EFSA headquarters building, following the specifications of the executive project attached to this document.

Via the award of the negotiated procedure NP/EFSA/FIN/2022/01, to increase by EUR 25 000 000 the envelope of the framework contract OC/EFSA/FIN/2019/01.
