The scope of this call for tenders is to conclude a concession contract for the canteen and bar, and a framework contract for catering services, food and beverage distributors and supply of fresh fruit, in cascade, with up to three economic operators.

The purpose of this call for tenders is to identify a single tenderer, with extensive and proven experience, able to provide EFSA with travel agency services. EFSA intends to sign a single framework contract of four (4) years duration with the successful tenderer.

The aim of this call is to gather and assess the necessary information to fill the gaps in existing risk assessment guidelines for genetically modified animals (GMAs) previously identified by EFSA and provide recommendations on aspects to consider for the potential development of additional guidance for the risk assessment of GDMIs for deliberate release into the environment. This call focuses on the use of engineered gene drives in disease-transmitting insects, primarily mosquitoes, agricultural insect pests and non-native invasive insects for deliberate release into the environment. The outcome of the proposed activities would allow EFSA to better prepare for future challenges in risk assessment of GDMIs. The project has an overall duration of 2 years and is divided into five broad objectives.

The aim of the project is to identify and prioritise EFSA’s data needs for advancing HHRA, AHRA and ERA, identify and map relevant data sources, and provide recommendations for data access and generation.

The purpose of this tender is to conclude a framework service contract with up to 3 tenderers in cascade. Contractors must provide EFSA with relocation services in the city of Parma covering a wide range of tasks, as mentioned in the tender documents, such as: accommodation search, administrative services, school search, support for family integration and help desk.

The service need for EFSA (increase of the envelope of a contract in cascade) is coherent with the legal basis found in Art. 11.1(e) of Annex 1 of the EU Financial Regulation and applies a negotiated procedure (NP/EFSA/MESE/2023/01) without prior publication of a contract notice with the economic operators awarded the initial framework contract (OC/EFSA/AMU/2021/03).

This call was launched for the provision of technical and scientific support to EFSA training courses on plant pest surveillance for improving crisis preparedness in plant health. The e-learning course and webinars resulting from this call were aimed to support EU Member States and Third Countries in the implementation of statistically sound and risk-based plant pest surveys using EFSA Pest Survey.

The objectives of this contract are: (i) to improve and extend the already started collection of existing published or unpublished data on the ecology, geographical distribution, abundance and structure of selected wildlife species; (ii) where relevant data and information are missing and needed by EFSA, to generate original data with ad hoc field studies; (iii) by using the collected and/or generated data, to perform data analysis and to model the geographical distribution, abundance and structure of selected wildlife species; (iv) to strengthen and foster collaboration on wildlife research activities in the EU and in neighbouring countries; (v) to deliver ad-hoc scientific advice to support EFSA concerning technical questions and advise about possible emerging issues where wildlife could be involved; (vi) to communicate the results achieved during the project by tailoring the language for the different stakeholders.

The overall aim of this procedure is to provide support services for the phases of expert knowledge elicitation as input into EFSA outputs using EFSAs expert knowledge elicitation methods, but also any other EKE method with a defined protocol, depending on the specific request, the type of question, the available resources (e.g. time, staff involvement etc.) and number of elicited experts in specific EFSA areas like chemical risk assessment; microbial risk assessment; environmental risk assessment; human nutrition; animal health and welfare risk assessment; plant health risk assessment. This award notice only concerns lot 1 – general support for expert knowledge elicitations using EKE methods.
