Northern Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of each component of tender, (ii) Two similar works costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of each component of tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of subcontractor shall be asked for. The overall cost including the PVC amount (if paid) of the completed work or substantially completed work shall be considered. The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years, ending the last day of the month previous to the one in which the tender is invited. Similar work is defined as any work of provision or maintenance of Data Logger or RTU or other remote sensing equipment for predictive/preventive maintenance of Signaling gears, or any work in connection with Signaling Installation and which includes data logger and/or RTU and/or Other Remote sensing equipment for predictive/preventive maintenance of Signaling gears, or any other signaling work involving indoor wiring. The percentages and values mentioned are: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender for three similar works - 40% of the advertised value of the tender for two similar works - 60% of the advertised value of the tender for one similar work - 35% value of work to be subletted for subletting of work - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work where no previous work experience is required.
