Complete Item rate for Erection of PSC slab, RCC Retainers, base slab etc. with crane of capacity 350MT or more having suitable boom length, after removing the existing girder (payment of removal shall be made under relevant item) such as steel girder RSJ/ RCC Slab segments/ Retainers and Placing in position PSC Slab/ Retainers with fixing of ballast retainers with Epoxy Resin or similar material, including all labor, material, tools, plants, taxes, duties, including lead, lift, crossing of nallah etc. (work will be carried out under traffic & OHE mega block. entire erection/ launching scheme to be got approved in advance from engineer in charge.Additional cranes of same capacity for handling/rehandling of work as stand by, Hydra 1/3 (one third) the no. of spans+1, Pneumatic Power Breaker 1/4 (one fourth) the no. of spans +1, JCB 2 No. should be arranged by the contractor for which no extra payment will be paid. . So nothing extra will be paid whatsoever the case may be. This also includes replacement of slabs & Retainers near bridge Span in reach of Crane for slabs & 1 retainers already placed within 200 meters of Bridge Site ,if required. Note1: Schedule of payment of the item shall be as under: a) P ayment shall be made for per MT weight in slab/ retainers/ base slab handled for erection, etc., complete i) 80% of the payment shall be made after placing the slabs / retainer/ base slab in position ii) Balance 20% payment shall be made after 20days of placing of slabs/ retainers/ base slab duly rectifying defects, if an y noticed. Contractor as per engineer's instruction shall repair any damage to slab/ retainer/ base slab with epoxy mortar. iii) In case item is not executed by the contractor due to lack of resources of any other reason, 100% payment of this item shall not be made and further as penalty 20% of rates of this item shall be recovered. iv) The contractor will submit launching scheme and will have to get approved from railway HQ before making any arrangement at site.The launching scheme should be such that it will not require lowering of OH electric wire.T raffic & Power block may be given during night. v)The contractor will submit copies of load testing certificates of wire rope,slings & crane lifting hook,including license of crane operator before commencement of work in the office of SSE/W

"IR:For cement concrete of required strength M-35/M-40 cast in situ with graded stone of 20mm or down gauge and coarse sand as per approved plan or as directed by the site engineer for foundation , flooring etc, with pumped concrete produced by RMC PLANT/ automatic computerised batching plant including cost of cement,admixture confirming to IS 9103 of quality & 2 Make(MBT,SIKA,FOSROC, CICO, PROTECT) IF REQUIRED,providing and removal all necessary shuttering & centering , batching mixing mechanically , vibrating , curing for specified period finishing and leveling for required level and shape and plastering the exposed surface etc. with all lead and lift including mixing fibre reinforcement (if required) as directed by the Engineer-in - charge .the rate is inclusive the cost of cement and RMC but excluding the cost of fibre reinforcement , steel which shall be paid extra on relevant item includes crossing of nallah, track and other obstacles etc as per N.R. standard specification 1987 edition (corrected upto date )"

C/I/R for dismantling of existing RCC /CC/Brick Arch in Bridges by pneumatic breaker 3 upto required level for any height and depth including all T&P, machinery etc including all lead , lift , handling, rehandling, crossing of nallah etc all ascent /descend and other instructions of site engineer whatsoever including disposal of dismantled debries outside railway land including all labour and material complete.

Complete item rate for making Arrangement of light to work in night hours as and 4 when required with generator of 600 VA including all necessary lighting, cable, fuel, operator, transporting of all men and machines all taxes etc, so nothing extra will be paid except the accepted rates whatsoever the case may be. Payment shall be made for actual working hours of generator.

Providing and fixing sheet piles including designing, cutting, fixing, fabrication of steel sheet pile of required shape & size, thickness, depth and height, loading, leading, unloading, assembling and driving as per site conditions with use of vibro hammer (to excavation of earth for casting of thrust bed) & pulling out of sheets of sheet pile as directed by site engineer including all labour, material, diesel & all consumables, taxes and repair if any etc, as a complete job. NOTE- 1. 5 Loss due to any kind (ie. cutting of extra length of sheet) or loss of any sheet while driving in/ out of the sheet pile is to be borne by the contractor & Railway has no responsibility of the same and nothing extra will be payable to contractor and also nothing extra will be payble for making earth platform for working of vibro hammer. 2- After use of sheet pile the sheet will become the property of the contractor. This item consider rental/usage charges of the material of sheet pile. Contractor shall submit design and drawing of sheet pile by reputed consultant and approved by Railway. Note-The quantity of sheet pile, which acually retained earth shall only be paid under this item.

Diversion of existing water way of the canal/nala through the RCC pipe(NP-4) of dia 6 2X1.00 mtr and making temporary path over the pipe for working of the crane during the block ,dismentling the same and clearing of water way after completion of work of slab erection and complete in all respect( The released RCC pipe after completion of work will be the property of the contractor)

Removal of Muck/ Malba/ debaries and garbage, which includes waste material, animal carcass, cow dung, building debris, muck, malba, night soil and rotten fruits and sweepings etc. The item includes the cutting of cess, from between the tracks and on surrounding midway land, including leveling of ground, as desired by site engineer. This may include cutting of bushes and vegetation also without any extra payment whatsoever the case may be. Contractor shall remove all the above material out of Railway boundary in a manner not violating any rules, regulations of State / Central Govt. and its authorized bodies, wherever the bulk of the items to be made as per 7 specification, measurement taken together can be measured by taking direct cross section. The payment will be made by taking initial & final levels of cross sections. However, no deduction for the voids will be made on it. Where it is not possible to take the cross section, levels, the contractor shall make stacks at convenient point for measurement for which no extra payment shall be made. The rate includes employment of requisite labour/donkey labour/ safai wala, cutting of heaps, leading, collecting, picking up, making stacks wherever required and disposal in above mentioned manner. The removal of muck/ malba includes crossing of Railway track, drains etc. without infringing safety of train working complete'( Photograph of locations before and after removing muck/malba along with quantities to be submitted duly signed by ADEN and contractor.
