Providing services of skilled worker/horticulture supervisor for development, complete maintenance and supervision of entire horticulture features. All complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Extra for engagement of skilled worker/horticulture supervisor (1 No.) on account of entitled leave.

Extra for engagement of semi-skilled worker (2 Nos.) on account of entitled leave.

(ii) Sub-Surface Drip Irrigation System 8. Operation of sub-surface drip irrigation system installed at NSUT East Campus all complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge

Extra for engagement of Operator (skilled worker) on account of entitled leave.

Comprehensive Maintenance of Sub-surface drip irrigation system installed at NSUT East Campus all complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. The scope of work includes the following: i) Repair/ replacement of any equipment, components, Main lines/ Sub lines/ Drip lines/ Collecting lines/ Pipe lines, various valve, pressure gauge, coupler, elbow, Tee end cap, Service Saddle pump, various filters, disc filter, Gravel Filter, PRV (Pressure Release Valve), Back Flush Assembly including PP Ball valve, Venture, Air Vacuum Release Valve, Foot Valve, Non Return Valve (NRV), Control Valve, Mono Block Pumps and Starters etc. ii) Periodic Cleaning of gravel filter, disc filter including replacement of gravel, disc ring etc. as required. iii) Acidic cleaning using Phosphoric Acid to clean disc filter, gravel filter, drip line network (Phosphoric Acid etc. shall be provided by contractor at his own cost). iv) Applying water soluble manure, fertilizers in the lawn through drip irrigation system, (Water soluble manure and fertilizer will be provided free of cost by the department). v) Application of pesticide in the lawns using drip irrigation system (pesticide will be provided by the department free of cost). vi) All other allied works.

B: NSUT West Campus (i) Horticulture Features 11. Complete maintenance of the entire garden features having as per yard stick in the garden area i.e. lawn trees, shrubs, herbs, edge, flower beds, foliages, creepers, cricket pitch etc. including hoeing, weeding, pruning, replacement of plants, gap filling, watering, mowing of lawn, grass cutting by lawn mover and brush cutter, removal of garden waste, applying insecticide, pesticide & fertilizers(whenever required) top dressing of lawn with good earth and manure and maintenance of other garden related works as directed by Engineer-in-charge (Good Earth, Manure, Fertilizer, Insecticide, Pesticide will be provided by the Department & lawn mover and brush cutter with fuel and other T & P material/articles shall be provided by the contractor) and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. Play grounds / Public parks (1 Mali for 2.00 Acre).

Development and complete maintenance of nursery, trees, earthen/ cemented potted plants, shrubs, hedges, flower beds, foliages, creepers and all other horticulture features etc. including hoeing, weeding, pruning (large and small trees), replacement of plants, gap filling, watering, applying insecticides, pesticides & fertilizers (whenever required) (outside garden features) (good earth, manure, fertilizer, insecticide, pesticide will be provided by the Department & lawn mover and brush cutter with fuel and other T & P material/articles shall be provided by the contractor) and proper disposal of horticulture waste/garbage to the designated place all complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge

Development and maintenance of vermi-composting system all complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge. The scope of work is given below:- (i) Construction of (04 Nos.) vermi-composting beds of approximate size 10 Ft. x 5 Ft. (bricks, sand, cement and other building material will be provided by NSUT). (ii) Stacking, shredding, and chopping of horticulture waste. (iii) Arrangement of earth worms and cow dung etc. (iv) The necessary procedure required for the proper running and maintenance of the vermi-composting system. (v) Proper storage of the compost. (vi) All other allied works.

(iii) Supply of Water for various purposes 22. Supply of water suitable for various purposes by mechanical means (Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) of water shall not exceed 1000 mg/l). The quoted rates should be inclusive of cost of royalty of water, filling from source, transportation for all leads and filling of water in the underground tank at NSUT West Campus. All complete as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge.
