Removal of excavated material from site to a distance not exceeding 50 meters away and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meters above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Boring holes under road pavment by bocky or manually in any type of soil upto 200mm bore of required depth as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up/down Cast Iron/Ductile Iron Pipes water mains (including all fittings) with spigot & socket ends and lead/tyton joints including burning out lead joints and recovering lead all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge of the following sizes :- (Note:- (a) Old U/s material obtained from demolition shall be taken on charge in demolition/salvage register and enter page number in demolition statement. Necessary RV of CI/DI pipe in 'RM' and lead in 'KG'shall be taken into account and attach with RAR/F Bill) (b) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seprately under respective items.

Supply, laying jointing, testing DI pipe with class-K-7 spigot socketed ends , conforming to IS-8329 laid in trenches including providing route indicators of suitable height and laying at spacing of @ 50m center to center at GL mentioning name of contractor, date of execution & CA No with name of work & rubber gasket (Tyton) joints with jointing material & route indicators of the following sizes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note 1: - Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BOQ. Note 2:- Contractors will provide route indicators mild steel body with top 150 mm plate 3mm thick and height not less than 300mm above finished GL at suitable intervals as directed by EIC. Cost of route indicators shall be deemed included in quoted unit rates. Note3:- DI pipe whole quantity of tender shall be procured by contractor in one time from the authorised dealer of approved make and PV's, MTC & e-way bill will produced by contractor during payment of 1st RAR as material laying at site. Note4:- Piece meal site for laying of pipe shall be given by EIC and contractor arrange to transport the DI pipe accordingly at his own arrangement. No any additional payment for transportation will be given to contractor. Contractors are requested to quote rate accordingly. Note5:- Layout plan for laying of DI pipe shall be given by EIC in writing. Note6 :- Cost of Rubber gasket joints (Tyton Joint) included in quoted unit rates.)

Material and labour for DI specials like bends, tapers any type any radius and angle, Tee pieces single branch `Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, DI connecting pieces one end flanged and other end spigot/socket, reducers/bell mouth pieces one end flanged and other end tapering as bell mouth for the size up to 250 mm dia bore complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Old U/s material obtained from demolition shall be taken on charge in demolition/salvage register and enter page number in demolition statement. Necessary RV of fittings in weight (KG) shall be taken into account and attach with RAR/F Bill)

Supply, fixing, jointing and testing cast iron Sluice Valve, ISI Marked, flanged ends drilled pressure rating PN-1.0, Confirming to IS 14846 -2000, having stainless steel spindle with cast iron operation wheel at top connection complete all as specified and as directed of following sizes:-. (Note:- Old unserviceable sluice valve shall be taken on charge and enter in demolition / salvage register in 'EACH' and attach the same page of salvage register with each RAR.)

M&L construction of valves pit chamber having internal dimension 120cmx120cmx120cm (internal height) with PCC sub base in PCC (1:4:8) using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate for foundation 15cm thick, 23 cm brick wall in cement mortar (1:4), 15mm thick plastering / rendering all around the brick work in cement mortar 1:6 and included PCC (1:2:4) type B1 as in coping with 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate for grouting MS frame incl 3mm thick MS top sheet cover with locking arrangement incl 50mm pad lock with double key arrangement. MS frame made out of 40x40x6mm thick angle iron incl painting of steel surface with two coats of syenthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer as finishing coat incl necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance 50 mtrs all as specified and shown on drg No CWE (U)/D-1/86 sheet No 1/1 and including demolition/ dismentling of existing valve chamber as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
