Notes:- (a) The mode of measurement shall be in cum by computing internal dimensions of existing manholes.The depth shall be measured from bottom of manhole upto the top of liquid level. (b) The tenderer shall engage the above mentioned T&P and intimate to Engr-in-Charge in writing with Machine No/Vehicle No etc for their record and prior approval. (c) The T&P as and when brought by the tenderer based on site requirement,the concern site executive shall take a photograph of machine alongwith the supervising staff i.e JE's and Contractor's rep etc. and shall kept in record with date. (d) A pucca bound Register shall be maintained showing the Machine No/Vehicle No and their deployment at site mentioning time and date duly signed by concerned JE, Engr-in-Charge and contractor and the same register shall be produced while claiming the payment by the Contractor in the E8 Section

Removal/cleaning of blockage in WCs, WHB, Sink, Bottle traps, Nahani traps, Cast Iron soil waste pipe running on external wall of bldgs including junction holes of any description etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for laying 150 mm dia bore Reinforced Cement Concrete pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed with collars in trenches and jointed including taking out old damaged drain pipes of any type & size complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 4 above, but 300mm dia bore complete.

M&L for concrete bed to drain pipes for 150mm dia in PCC 1:3:6, type C2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes, after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for concrete bed to drain pipes for 300 mm dia in PCC 1:3:6, type C2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes, after they are laid and tested; in complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repaires factory made SFRC manhole cover of any size and shape (square/rectangular/circular), 100mm thick with frame and set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints laying in floors of size 110 mm dia including taking out old pipes of any type & size complete all specified and as directed.

S&F PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints laying in floor of size 75 mm dia including taking out old pipes of any type & size complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F PVC (SWR) bends of any radius for 110 mm dia pipe complete all specified and as directed.

S&F PVC (SWR) bends of any radius for 75 mm dia pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar, including all quoins, arches, pillars etc of any description including removing debris from site complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class `B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc. 6mtr mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 in any situation and in foul condition etc complete all as specified and as directed.

As per the item 14 above, but except bricks complete.

Taking down cement plaster on brick/concrete surface including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on brick/stone masonary/concrete surfaces other than fair surfaces in CM 1:6, finished even and smooth, without using extra cement in any situation and in foul condition etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of alkali resistant primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete type C-1, 1:3:6, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in copings over drains, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering slightly rounded for chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for (framed/unframed work) complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F framed work as in doors chowkhats of MS angle iron or MS hollow square/rectangular any type/size with gusset plates, rails, braces, cooler stand, chajja framed complete, drilled for fixing of door etc. to be prepared for hanging with and including hold fasts and locking arrangement conforming to Fe-290 (Gde-165) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on new steel surfaces including preparation of surface exc 10 cm width or girth complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old steel surfaces exc 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old decorated wall surfaces by complete removal of existing treatment and applying two coats of cement based paint, white or tinted (colour and shade as per new colour scheme approved by GE) including scaffolding etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles on vertical surfaces, area of each tile from 0.06 Sqm to 0.18 Sqm, 7mm to 8mm thick, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or colour cement to match over and including 10mm thick backing coat in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for ultra design cement concrete coloured chequered tiles 30cm x 30cm x 20mm thick with glossy finish with grey cement and pigment of any pattern and approved colour, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors etc over & including 20mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete Type D2, (1:4:8), using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub-base, foundations, filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 60mm thickness machine pressed pre-cast concrete interlocking paver block of any size and shape, conforming to IS 15658-2006, M-35 grade with grey cement and pigment, laid over and including 40mm thick sand cushioning and joints filled with sand including demolition/dismantling of existing tiles/block etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 80mm thickness machine pressed pre-cast concrete interlocking paver block of any size and shape, conforming to IS 15658-2006, M-40 grade with grey cement and pigment, laid over and including 40mm thick sand cushioning and joints filled with sand including demolition/dismantling of existing tiles/block etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for continuous road edging with factory made pre-cast cement concrete blocks (1:3:6), type C-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate, exceeding 10cm thick with plain fair faces size as per existing kerb stone with or without chamferred edge and setting and jointing in cement mortar 1:4 including necessary excavation in hard/dense soil, tamping ground around blocks including dimantling existing u/s kerb stone and removal from site to outside of defence land complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of existing kerb stone concrete/brick surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of weather proof primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly kerb stone concrete/brick surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of weather proof primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6, type C2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection, 50 mm thick, finished even and smooth, without using extra cement including making joints 12mm wide to the full depth of PCC at every 3 metres and at every change of direction and filling the same with & including bitumen and sand 1:3 by weight complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting of vegetation plant (girth not exceeding 300mm) from roof, terrace, chajjas etc, digging out the roots and making good the surface in PCC 1:2:4, type B1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate with surfaces finished to match including scaffolding etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes :- (i) The contract sum shall be after deducting the amount of Credit shown in Sch of Credit of this Tender. (ii) If any item of same description in nature is found to be entered as "double in BOQ" and the bidder quotes different rates against same item, then the rate quoted on lower side shall be applicable and higher rate will not be allowed to be paid in any circumstances. No claim on this account shall be entertained on a later date.
