S&F second class soft wood (KAIL) as in post/struts of type-I ballies, average dia 100 mm fixed in true vertical/horizontal position complete all as specified & directed By Engineer-in-Charge at site.

S&F second class soft wood (KAIL) unseasoned timber scantling, clean sawn, chamfered, fixed to CGI Sheets with MS nails complete all as shown in sketch ‘P’ on drawing & as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S&F galvanized corrugated mild steel sheet 0.63mm thick with zinc coating @ 275 gms/sqm (including both side) with one corrugation side lap fixed with suitable size of MS hooks at top and bottom complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated wooden surfaces of any description, over 10cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of Synthetic enamel paints over one coat of pink primmer complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 30mm thick flush shutters solid core construction with block board core and plywood face panels commercial type on both sides complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for second class hard wood glazed & Skelton shutter, 25mm thick open rebated & prepared to receive glass/gauge etc. without sash bars, in form of windows and ventilators provided with styles and rails as specified in section 8, clause 8.24 (b) of SSR Part-I and as directed.

S&F sheet glass 3mm thick ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in square not exc. 0.5 Sqm in each pane all as specified.

S&F butt hinges, medium weight cold rolled mild steel 100mm size.

- all as per Serial item No 11 above but 75mm size.

S&F 250mm long Mild Steel sliding door bolts plate type stove enameled black with bright bolt not less than 12mm dia with and including a minimum of 6 bolts and nuts (4 on bolt plate & 2 on staple plate) complete all as specified.

S&F 150mm long Mild Steel barrel tower bolts, stove enameled black with bright bolt complete all as specified and directed.

- all as per serial item No. 14 above but 100mm long.

S&F Mild Steel pressed handle oval type stove enameled black of size 100mm complete all as specified and directed.

S&F HDPE water proofing covers sheets best quality in roof, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-O using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in 25mm thick floor, paths or any similar situation and surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and as directed.

M&L for hard core of broken bricks of gauge not exc. 63mm deposited spread and leveled in layers not exc. 15 cm thick each watered and rolled, rammed to a true surface all as specified and as directed.

S&F soft wood any class (Type 2 ballies) average dia 100 mm as in fencing work complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling welded steel wire fabrics works against serialitem No. 3 here-in- before.

Dismantling wooden posts/ struts works against serialitem No. 4 & 20 here-in- before.

Dismantling timber scantling works against serialitem No. 5 here-in- before.

Dismantling CGI sheets walling/roofing works against serialitem No. 6 here-in- before.

Dismantling flush shutter & glazed shutter including fittings/ glass/panes works against serialitem No. 08 and 09 here-in- before.

Dismantling/removing of HDPE water proofing covers sheets against serialitem No. 17 here-in- before.

Notes :- (a) The contractor may use old serviceable material against serial item No 3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17 & 20 which are defect less and in re-useable condition for incorporation in the work, at the discretion of and approval from Engineer-in-Charge and the contractor shall quote his rates accordingly. (b) The contractor shall offer credit to the department amounting to Rs. 49,93,893.00 as detailed in SCHEDULE OF CREDIT at serial Page No. 21 of the tender documents. The rates of old retrieved material covered under Schedule of Credit is FIRM and shall be recovered for old retrieved material from the contractor irrespective of its condition and rates quoted by the contractor under this BILL OF QUANTITIES. However, the quantity of old retrieved material shall be as per actual work executed, measured and paid for under items of bill of quantities as above.
