M&L in replacement of Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to galvanized lead wire 4mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I, connected to earth test point and the equipment on the other nuts and washers of galvanized ironsides complete all as specified, including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in- Charge.
Note : (a) The unit rates quoted against this item shall be deemed to include the cost of excavation and earth work in any type of soil, common salt & charcoal dust in alternate layers, PCC 1:3:6 as in pit, precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 with necessary reinforcement as in cover & frame for pit, funnel, watering pipe 20 mm bore GI pipe light grade, protection pipe 15 mm bore GI pipe medium grade etc.
(b) The quoted rates shall also deemed to include the cost of earth test point and earth strip/GI lead wire and protection pipe up to 7.5 meter beyond the earth plates electrode.

Disconnecting electrically and mechanically outdoor transformers upto 400 KVA capacity, lowering down from 4/6/8 pole structure carefully using hydra machine and Re-installation of transformer on plinth, connecting electrically and mechanically, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in- Charge.

Fencing :-
M&L for perimeter fencing of size 04m x 04m x 2m (as per site condition) having MS work of angle iron for post and struts of fencing around the transformer plinth/substation/LT panels/RMU etc drilling holes flat iron fillet for securing wire mess by welding to angle iron frame and framed work as in door/gate of angle iron and wiremesh.Door to be fixed by 03 nos 100mm long hinges and one sliding door bolt of 300mm long for locking arrangement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in- Charge. Details are as follows:-
(a)Angle iron post to post distance maintained not more than 02mtr ,size of angle shall be 40x40x5mm.Angle Iron shall be embedded in natural ground not less than 0.90 m deep.
(b)MS wire 75x75mm mesh 3.15 mm dia ,2mtr height and shall be fixed to post with flat iron 32 x 6 mm fillet with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer.
(c)Cement concrete type D-2 ,1:4:8 using grade crushed stone aggregate for mass concrete/ foundation.
(d)Brickwork with subclass 'B ' bricks ,straights or curved on plane exc 6m mean radius ,built in cement mortar 1:6 complete for toe wall along the perimeter fencing. The toe wall shall be one brick thick,30cm high (15cm above GL and 15cm below GL) on 75mm thick PCC lean concrete.
(e) The exposed surfaces of brickwork shall be rendered 15mm thick in CM (1:4) finished fair and even without using extra cement.
(f) The steel gate shall be of size 1.00m x2.00 m fabricated from angle iron 40x40x5 mm frame and 12x12 mm square guard bars.
(g) All the exposed surfaces of steel shall be painted with two coats of Synthetic enamel paint over one coat of Red Oxide Primer.
(h) Dry stone aggregate of size 40mm spreaded ,leveled & compacted up to 100mm thick.
(h) Necessary excavation and earthwork shall be included in the quoted rate.
