In case any fault /burning /peeling of painting and any other defects occured in hired transformer the contractor shall have to made good himself from his own expenses. (ii) Contractor should check the available infrasturcture and to be sure regarding safety of hired transformer before installation . The rate quoted is deemed to be include transportation cost, earthing lead etc.
(iii) In case the defective transformer not repaired & installed on its site within the specified period of 15 days from the date of handing over to contractor a panelty recovery @ Rs 1000 /- per day will be charged from his dues. During this period contractor shall not be allowed to shift the hired transformer until it is replaced by the repaired transformer . No extra cost beyond 15 days will be paid to contractor on this account.

(iv) Fixing only breather assembly, conservator, oil temperature gauge after proper cleaning, minor repairs etc. as required and directed.
(v) Replacement of all unserviceable gasket from top cover ,4.0mm/6.0mm thick duly pasted with suitable adhesive .
(vi) Replacement of unserviceable bolts with new one and fixing of existing serviceable bolts, nuts, washers of different sizes and tightening properly.
(vii) Repositioning of core and winding assembly inside the tank, assembling complete unit and making the transformer ready for filling oil and subsequent testing as directed. (viii) Painting of Transformer with existing colour with sparying machine. (b) Note :-HT/LT leg coils and transformer oil required for top up shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this Schedule here-in-after as supply only.

(ix) Check whether the contacts are damaged by arcing. (x) Checking of control circuit & tighten the connections if any.
(xi) Check close & trip coil. (xii) Checking of Jaw Contacts Conditions and repair/adjust.
(xiii) Replace the jaw contacts,If required. (xiv) Improvement of resistance of epoxy insulator and epoxy body by applying post heated varnish.
(xv) Replacement of Dashpot/shock absorbers . (xvi) Replacement of carbon brush of spring charging motor (b) The following test shall be carried out:-
(i) Primary Injection Test of CT / PT
(ii) Closing & Opening Timing Test for all three poles.
(iii) IR Test with megger in open and closed condition.

Fencing :- M&L for perimeter fencing of size 04m x 04m x 2m having MS work of angle iron for post and struts of fencing around the transformer plinth/substation/LT panels etc drilling holes flat iron fillet for securing wire mess by welding to angle iron frame and framed work as in door/gate of angle iron and wire mesh. Details are as follows:-
(a) Angle iron post to post distance maintained not more than 02 mtr ,size of angle shall be 40x40x5mm.Angle Iron shall be embedded in natural ground not less than 0.60 m deep.
(b) MS wire 75x75mm mesh 3.15 mm dia ,2mtr height and shall be fixed to post with flat iron 32 x 6 mm fillet with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer.
(c) Cement concrete type D-2, 1:4:8 using grade crushed stone aggregate for mass concrete/ foundation.
(d) Brickwork with subclass 'B ' bricks, straights or curved on plane exc 6m mean radius ,built in cement mortar 1:6 complete for toe wall along the perimeter fencing. The toe wall shall be one brick thick (23 cm), 30cm high (15 cm above GL and 15 cm below GL) on 75 mm thick PCC lean concrete.
(e) The exposed surfaces of brickwork shall be rendered 15mm thick in CM (1:4) finished fair and even without using extra cement.
(f) The steel gate shall be of size 1.00m x2.00 m fabricated from angle iron 40x40x5 mm frame and 12x12 mm square guard bars.
(g) All the exposed surfaces of steel shall be painted with two coats of Synthetic enamel paint over one coat of Red Oxide Primer.
(h) Necessary excavation and earthwork shall be included in the quoted rate.
