Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning new XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 16 sqmm x 4.0 Core in trench/ on pole/ in duct complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil not exceeding 1.5 meter depth and not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and getting out complete all as directed.

M&L for sand cushioning with a layer of river dry fine sand 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm after laying the cable in trenches to cover under ground cable, complete all as specified & directed. Note- penned thickness of sand layer will be considered for measurement.

Supplying laying, brick sub class 'B' common burnt laid in trenches for cable protection complete all specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all specified.

Removal of excavated material not exceeding 50 meters and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meter above the starting point complete all specified.

S&F of GI pipe of 25 mm nominal dia light grade laid under road crossing for cable protection complete all as specified and directed. (Note : The cost of GI fittings etc shall deemed to be included in the qouated rate.)

M&L for road cutting, including excavation, returning filling in, spreading, leveling, well ramming in layers, soiling with broken boudders/ stones, WBM 7.5 cm thick coarse aggregate received from dismantling the existing road, premix, rolled and compacted for road patch repair work with PCC complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plate earthing complete with galvanized mild steel plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (in earth pit not less than 2.25m below normal ground level) with the top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5m below norm al ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of clear coal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15cm on all sides and incl GI earth strip 32 x 6 mm bolted (with GI nuts, bolts & check nuts) and revetted to earth plate at one end and connected to metallic bodies of equipments etc, GI earth strip encased in and including 40 mm bore GI medium grade pipe with all fittings from upper edges of earth plate to body of equipment fixed with and including 32 x 6 mm flat iron clamps,bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing 20 mm bore GI pipe medium grade from bottom of earth plate to ground level for watering complete with earth pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-O using 12mm graded crushed stone aggregate and RCC cover, funnel, wire mesh including necessary excavation & earth work, etc as shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Rate included for Adequate quantity of charcoal dust, common salt and Testing commissioning including checking of earth continuity and earth result complete all as specified and as directed. (ii) Rates for Main earthing lead from earth electrode to test point upto 7.5 metre will deemed to be included in quoted rates. (iii) On testing after completion if the desired earth resistance is not obtained the earthing will be redone at no extra cost.
