The required prior work experience for the bidder includes submission of completion/experience certificates for similar works executed. The bidder should have completed works with a value of at least 40% of the estimated cost put to tender, based on the average annual audited financial turnover for the last 3 years. The required prior work experience includes: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 400 crore, whichever is less; - Or, two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 500 crore, whichever is less; - Or, one similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 800 crore, whichever is less. The bidder should have experience of having successfully completed similar works during the last 7 years. The average annual audited financial turnover for the last 3 years should be at least 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40% of the estimated cost put to tender, and the bidder's proportionate experience in a joint venture/consortium will be considered to the extent of its share in the joint venture/consortium. The bidder should provide details of similar work experience certificates, including completion certificates and documentary proof of details like drawings, LOA, BOQ, completion certificate/occupation certificate, copy of final bill, etc. The bidder must submit details of similar works executed, including the name of the work, location, type of work, name of the client, date and number of completion certificate, date of start and completion, final/approved value of contract, and cost of items supplied by the employer free of cost or at fixed rates. The cost of work on completion, including the cost of supplies free of cost or at a fixed rate, is calculated as (X+Y), where X is the final/approved value of the contract (excluding items supplied free of cost by the employer) and Y is the cost of items supplied by the employer free of cost or at fixed rates. For projects having an estimated cost above Rs. 1000 crore, the "similar works" shall mean "Residential/Non-Residential Building works of any number of storeys".
