Labor to be engaged for 24 * 7 watch and ward, Hoeing & Weeding (Once in a 02 month), Watering, maintenance of fencing & fire line, uprooting of invasive species (Prosopis juliflora or VilayatiKikar, Lantana camara, Leucanealeucocephala or Subabool, Parthenium hysterophorus or Gajar Ghas) (at least once a month), tree training (during the month of November to Janurary) mulching & soil moisture conservation as per site requirement by the contractor for effective care of plantation. Site wise details of Labour: as per 1 labourer over 2000 plants in IVth year maintenance (13247 nos.) 4.3 ha plantation site – 3 labourer for maintenance 2.44 ha plantation site -2 labour for maintenance 4.85 ha plantation site -3 labour for maintenance IInd Year maintenance (1648 trees) as per 1 labourer over 1000 plants 1.48 ha - 2 labours for maintenance of plants Total 9 labours for watch & ward (3 labours in each shift for watch and ward of four adjacent patches)

Providing and watering of irrigation water to trees through water tankers of Horticulture features i.e. tree, shrubs, hedged, ground cover etc. at the site of work. Water tanker having 5000 Ltr. Capacity with one labour for watering (including cost of water, filling of tanker, watering at the site with all leads and lifts as per direction of officer in charge) 20 Ltr. of water per plant Watering calculation of 13247 trees for IVth Year maintenance For Yamuna flood plain: 1. Summer (April – June): 2 times a month 2. Monsoon (July- October): nil times 3. Winter (November – March) : 2 time in a month Total 16 watering @ 20lt for per plant = 4239040 lt/5000 lt per tanker = 848 tankers Watering calculation of 1648 trees for IInd Year maintenance For Yamuna flood plain: 1. Supply and spreading of good quality Vermicompost @1.25 Kg per plant X 13247= 16559kg for IVth year and 1.75 Kg per plants for 1648 trees =2884 kg for IInd year
