The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works within the last five years. The similar works should be of the following values: - At least one “similar work” of value of Rs.77.70 Lakhs or more - At least two “similar works” each of value of Rs.48.56 Lakhs or more - At least three “similar works” each of value of Rs.38.85 Lakhs or more Substantial completion is defined as 80% or more of the works completed under the contract. The value of work done shall be updated to the last day of the month previous to the month of tender submission, assuming 5% inflation for Indian Rupees every year and 2% for foreign currency portions per year. For joint ventures or consortia, the lead partner must have a minimum of 26% participation and experience in executing at least one similar work of value Rs. 38.85 Lakhs or more. Non-substantial partners, with less than 26% participation, must have experience in executing at least one civil work of minimum value Rs.19.42 Lakhs. In the case of a joint venture or consortium with foreign partners, the foreign partner must have also executed works of total value Rs. 38.85 Lakhs or more outside their home country. The bidder should have experience of executing at least one "similar work" of value of Rs. 38.85 Lakhs or more in the last 05 years. Each substantial partner in case of JV/Consortium shall have this experience. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned, other than substantial completion being 80% or more.
