The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works within the last five years. The similar works should be of a certain value, which can be met in one of the following ways: - At least one “similar work” of value of ₹789.92 lakh or more - At least two “similar works” each of value of ₹493.70 lakh or more - At least three “similar works” each of value of ₹394.96 lakh or more For joint ventures or consortia, each substantial partner must have experience of executing at least one "similar work" of value of ₹394.96 lakhs or more in the last 05 years. Non-substantial partners must have experience of executing at least one "Civil work" of minimum value of ₹197.48 lakhs in the last 05 years. Substantial completion is defined as 80% (value-wise) or more works completed under the contract. The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works of at least ₹197.48 Lakhs in the last five years. In the case of a joint venture (JV)/Consortium comprising a parent company and its wholly-owned subsidiary(ies), it is not mandatory for the wholly-owned subsidiary(ies) to have experience in executing similar works or civil works. The bidder must have experience of executing at least one "similar work" in their individual capacity. The bidder should not have been penalized with liquidated damages of 10% (or more) of the contract value due to delay nor imposed with penalty of 10% (or more) of the contract value due to any other reason in any Civil Engineering works of value more than 10% of NIT cost of work, during last three years. No contract of the tenderer of the value more than 10% of NIT cost of work, executed either individually or in a JV/Consortium, should have been rescinded / terminated by DMRC/ any other Metro Organization (100% owned by Govt.) after award during last 03 years due to non-performance of the tenderer or any of JV/Consortium, members.
