The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works within the last five years. The similar works should be related to civil maintenance work of metro/railway stations, metro/railway bridges, metro/railway depots in any operational metro or operational railway system. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work of value ₹795.36 lakh or more, or at least two similar works each of value ₹497.10 lakh or more, or at least three similar works each of value ₹397.68 lakh or more. In the case of a joint venture (JV) or consortium, each substantial partner must have experience of executing at least one "similar work" valued at a minimum of ₹397.68 lakhs or more in the last 05 years. The lead partner must have a minimum of 26% participation in the JV/Consortium. Each non-substantial partner should have a minimum of 20% participation in the JV/Consortium and must have experience of executing at least one Civil work of minimum value of ₹198.84 lakhs in the last 05 years. The value of similar work completed will be updated to the last day of the month previous to the month of tender submission, assuming 5% inflation for Indian Rupees every year and 2% for foreign currency portions per year. Substantial completion is defined as 80% (value-wise) or more of the works completed under the contract. The bidder should have experience in executing at least one Civil work valued at a minimum ₹198.84 lakhs within the last 05 years. However, in the case of a joint venture (JV)/Consortium comprising a parent company and its wholly owned subsidiary, it is not mandatory for the wholly owned subsidiary to have this experience.
