The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the value of work done, which shall be updated to the last day of the month previous to the month of tender submission price level, assuming 5% inflation for Indian Rupees every year and 2% for foreign currency portions per year. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works during the last five years. The similar works for this contract shall be "Any Civil / Finishing Work". The required prior work experience is as follows: - At least one “similar work” of value of INR 3.16 crore or more. - OR two “similar works” each of value of INR 1.97 crore or more. - OR three “similar works” each of value of INR 1.58 crore or more. In case of a joint venture (JV) or consortium with foreign partners, the foreign partner must have executed works of total value INR 1.58 Cr or more outside their country. For joint ventures or consortia, the work experience of only the substantial partner (with a share of 26% or more) is considered. Substantial completion is defined as 80% or more of the works completed under the contract. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned. However, any work of the value more than 10% of NIT cost of work, executed either individually or in a JV/Consortium, should not have been rescinded/ terminated due to non-performance.
