Description:- Conversion Of 60kg/60e1-r 260grade Single Rail/three Rail/ten Rail/twenty Rail Panel Into swr/lwr By Alumino Thermic Skv Process (single Shot Crucible With Automatic Tapping Thimble technology)includingsupervisionandfinishingwithrailway'slabourandcontractor'sportions, equipments, Cost Of Transportation Of Portion And Other Associated Equipment Complete By Road From firmtosse/p-way/store,includinginsurance,loadingbutexcludingunloadingandstackingat destination.note 1:- (a) (i) If Compressed Air Blower Is Not Used Then Rate Will Be Reduced By Rs. 25/- Per joint. (ii) If Automatic Thimble Is Not Used Then Rate Will Be Reduced By Rs. 45/- Per Joint. (b) The Less rates Indicated In A Above Are With Respect To Dec Rates (i.e Rs.2679.83) And Not Rate Payable Which Will be Calculated As Per Subject To Tender Increase/ Decrease Quoted By The Tenderer. Note 2:- (i) Contractor has To Supply The Tools And Plants To Different S.e. (p.way) As Per Instruction Of Engineer-in-charge As per Enclosed List For Carrying Out The Welding Under Direct Supervision Of Contractor And After The completion The Instruments Shall Be Deposited With The S.e. (p.way) Without Claiming Any Charges. In addition To Welding Equipments Specified Above, The Contractor Has To Supply & Use (by His Supervisor) one Rail Profile Grinder With Generator And One Weld Trimmer With Power Pack At Each Welding Site Where his Supervisor Is Deputed. The Repairs To Breakage Or Replacement Of Any Tool Or Plant Have To Be Done by The Contractor At His Own Cost. (ii) The Quoted Rates For The Items In Schedule -a Are Inclusive Of transportation Charges Including Loading Of Materials Of On Contractor's Cost But Unloading And Stacking of Materials At Destination Shall Be On Railway's Account. (iii) The Welding Has To Be Done With Improved preheating Technology Namely, Compressed Air Petrol/lpg Along With Use Of Three Piece Moulds Only. the Tools & Plants Are To Be Arranged Accordingly By Contractor Without Claiming Any Extra Cost. The rdso Trained Supervisor Has Also To Be Arranged By The Contractor For Proper Supervision And Execution of The Work By Above Method Without Claiming Anything Extra. (iv) Welding Has To Be Done By Single shot Crucible With Automatic Tapping Thimble Technology Only. (v)the Contractor Shall Depute Three rdso Approved Welders (i.e. Three Welding Site) For The Tendered Work.
