South East Central Railway Tender

The bidder must have prior work experience for the type of job for which the tender is invited. The required prior work experience includes successfully completing or substantially completing one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. In case of more than one L-1 bidders, the tender may be awarded to the tenderer having done more value of similar work in the last three previous financial years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of the tender. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
