The RMU should be internal arc tested for 21 KA for 1 sec with IAC-AFLR classification for gas tank & cable box and gas to be released from the rear top from operator. The complete RMU along cable chamber to put to an outdoor enclosure to have ingress protection of minimum IP55. Each feeder should have voltage presence indicator and Each LBS feeder should have fault passage indicator. All type of test certificates as per IEC from third party lab to be submitted. RMU Should have 01 No manometer for each tank and the followings:-

Note(s) :-
(i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM not less than 4Kg/Sqm.
(ii) PCC chamber shall be constructed 500 mm away from the edge of earth pit.
(iii) Rate shall include GI strip and protection pipe of length 7.5m, GI pipe beyond 7.5m length required at site shall be measured and paid separately.
(iv) Earth resistance should be less than 3 Ohm. In case the test results are not found below 3 Ohm, complete earthing will be redone without any extra cost to Govt.

(ii) The drawings in respect of VCB shall be got approved from the Accepting Officer by the GE as & when requested by contractor before placing order to the manufacturer. (iii) VCB shall be tested by representive of Accepting Officer at Factory permises before dispatch as & when requested by the contractor.
