Deploying safaiwala for attending/ clearing daily complaints of blockages of floor traps, gully traps, WC's (Indian/ European) at Ground floor or above ground floors (upto 2nd floor) upto first manhole including cleaning throug door bends with and including necessary T & P required for this purpose. Note :- (a) The contractor shall provide safaiwala, per day for 8 Hrs to attend the above complaints for complete tenure of contract. The quoted rate by the contractor against this item shall deemed to be included the cost of the aforesaid manpower. (b) All the safaiwalas shall attend the MES complaint cell of AGE B/R Army at K area and Sect 28/29D at 08:30 Hrs to collect the complaints and submit the same duly signed by the occupant at 1630 Hrs in the complaint cell. It will be responsiblity of contractor to ensure their attendance & completion of complaints. (c) The contractor will ensure the cleaning/clearing of all the complaints (irrespective of Nos) within 24 Hrs by deploying addl s'walas if needed. Nothing extra will be paid on this account. (d) Contractor shall be solely responsible for supplying all the safety measures required by the safaiwalas during working hours. (e) All the waste material/ sludge shall be disposed off out of MoD land. (f) Contractor shall be solely responsible for supplying all the rodding set/tools required by the safaiwalas during working hours. (g) if contractor failed to fulfill the requirement of safaiwala as required and directed by Engg-in-Charge, Recovery @ Rs1000/- per person per day will be charged.

Dewatering/Desluding of sockage well/septic tank (any size and depth), desilting and removing sludge from manholes as in foul conditons and removing of sludge beyond MD land and deposited in borrow pits including excavation of borrow pits and covered with 10cm thick layers of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge Note for item No. 2. Dewatering /desludging shall be done by suction pump / any mechanical means and disposal by truck mounted trailors to dispose off sludge etc beyond MOD land earmaked by local Muncipal Corporation.

Cleaning of drain pipes of any size by rodding manually or mechanically from manhole to manhole for cleaning eye and well flushing with water after cleaning .(The rate include for taking off manhole cover and re-fixing the same after cleaning /removing the waste materials and sludge to a distance near by suitable distance and depositing in the borrow pits as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(The rates also include for earth work /excavation and removal of surplus spoil for borrow pits).
