Refilling sieved sand in sloped portion of firing range wall upto 7.00 metre height (maximum), spreading and leveling in layers n. exc. 25cm thick, well ramming and consolidation, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Sand as approval by Engineer-in-Charge obtain from sieving under Ser item No. 1.00 above shall be used for filling.

Refilling of sieved sand duly mixed with saw dust in equal proportion (1:1) (top layer) in sloped portion of firing range wall upto 7.00 metre height (maximum), spreading and leveling in layers n. exc. 25 m thick, well ramming and consolidation, , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:- (i) Seived sand (additional sand) required for refilling shall be obtained from the source approved by Engineer-in-Charge . Additional sand is required to maintain the top surface level after carrying out of firing in periodic interval. (ii) Quoted rate of above item shall be inclusive of sand and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account separately (iii) Saw dust shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only saw dust , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and stacking of HDPE (High density polyethylene) bags in and including of filling with good quality sand and mouth of bag shall be stitched with nylon thread and stacked upto 7.00metre height , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Quoted rate of above item shall be inclusive of sand and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account separately. Note for item no. 1 to 6 : Execution of item no. 1 to 06 shall be required to operate repeatedly in required periodical interval as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Restraining and resecuring including making good only barbed wire including making good staples etc. galvanized 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings, and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire staples, or steel pins etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:Each line of wire to be measured

Galvanized 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings, and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire staples, or steel pins etc in and including taking down old unserviceable existing barbed wire. , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:Each line of wire to be measured

Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description , not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamells paint ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Brick work with sub-class `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement sand mortar 1:6 complete in and including demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc for the area where unservicable bricks retrived and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Servicable bricks retrived from demolition this item shall be used after proper cleaning and washing of old bricks under item No 11 below.

Brick work with sub-class `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius (except bricks) built in cement sand mortar 1:6 complete in and including demolition of brickwork or stone boulder masonary built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars etc for area where servicable bricks retrived and removal of rubbish outside MoD land ,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge. Note: Servicable bricks retrived from demolition of item No.10 and this item shall be used in this item after proper cleaning and washing of old bricks.

Rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement in and including taking down cement plaster on brick walls & concrete surfaces & the like including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., any description, and removal of rubbish outside MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i).Quoted rate shall be deemed to include for necessary scaffolding & formwork for building upto 20.00m high. (ii) No extra payment made to contractor for work in small patches as required at site/as directed.

Rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i).Quoted rate shall be deemed to include for necessary scaffolding & formwork for building upto 20.00m high. (ii) No extra payment made to contractor for work in small patches as required at site/as directed.

Preparation of newly plastered surfaces of brick/ stone/ plastered/concrete/Kerb stone and applying two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/ litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489: 2004, alkali & fungal resistant, dirt resistant exterior paint of required shade with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces in camouflage pattern , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Number of coats and pattern of camouflage shall be approved by GE. (ii) All safety measures for the safety of workers shall be ensured by contractor before execution of work. Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor.

Complete removal of existing treatment of old surfaces of brick/ stone/ plastered/concrete/Kerb stone surface and applying two or more coats of 100% premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/ litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489: 2004, alkali & fungal resistant, dirt resistant exterior paint of required shade in camouflage pattern as approved by GE with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over old surfaces , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes: (i) Number of coats and pattern of camouflage shall be approved by GE. (ii) All safety measures for the safety of workers shall be ensured by contractor before execution of work. Insurance of workers shall be got done by contractor before execution of the work and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted by contractor.
