M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat using paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 5 kg/10 sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing Bituminous macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes , sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor to remove all loose dust & dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen (VG-10 grade) @ 3Kg per 10 Sqm with mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick consolidated thickness, using combined graded aggregate i.e. crushed stone coarse aggregate, fine aggregate (sand) & filler (inherent filler/OPC 43 grade) of physical properties as specified (refer SSR Part-I of 2009), pre-heated, mixed with 4.5% to 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using VG-30 grade bitumen, laid with mechanical paver, rolled & compacted to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne capacity tendom vibratory roller used in static mode complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Thickness of semi dense asphaltic concrete and quantities of materials as mentioned in particular specifications/SSR are the minimum. The quoted rate shall also be deemed to include for provision of more materials in comparison to those mentioned/specified in the item, if required, to achieve the required level, gradient, camber and shape all as directed by the AGE(I)/GE. (ii) Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing crushed stone coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and binder (bitumen). Semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be laid in single layer with self propelled mechanical paver all as directed by the AGE(I)/GE. (iii) Contractor’s quoted rates shall be deemed to include all these aspects. (iv) The job design mix formula shall be carried out from the approved lab and got approval from the AGE(I)/GE before commencement of the work.

M&L for painting 2.5mm thick with thermoplast fluorescent paint of colour white or golden yellow or any other shade conforming to BS standard 3262 with 20% glass beads (inter mixed) applied hot with automatic (commercial) machine drive in strips after preparation of surfaces as per manufacturer’s instructions & according to the specifications laid down by IRC & MOST (Ministry Of Surface Transport)- Specifications 2001 (4th revision), making lines, broken lines/dashes, arrows etc. on roads and other like surfaces exceeding 10 cm but not exceeding 20 cm in width or girth complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling dressed stone work, Precast concrete articles, precast cement concrete kerb stones etc removing the debries outside of MOD land to a designated place earmarked by the local administration complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Providing and laying (at or near ground level) Factory made kerb stone/Drainage channel of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves ( thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 9 here-in-before but (EXCEPT KERB STONES) using old serviceable kerb stones retrieved against item No 8 above. Note: Rates quoted against the item shall deemed to be included for removing mortar etc from the kerb stones. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

Demolitioin of plain cement concrete in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15cm thickness, removing the debries outside of MOD land to a designated place earmarked by the local administration complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F Convex Mirror 800 mm dia, polycarbonate reflected, outdoor type with hood ABS body including stand (MS pipe 60mm dia of height 1.5 m duly painted for fixing mirror and fixed in position in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate (block size 450x450x600mm) to bear self load and wind pressure with necessary fixing arrangements as per manufacturer’s instructions with & including excavation, earth work and removal of soil to a distance n.exc 50m fixed in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying two coats of exterior Acrylic emulsion paint over a coat of primer of same manufacturer on new concrete surfaces over 10cm girth or width in black & white or yellow & black shade or shade as approved by the AGE (I) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying one coat of exterior Acrylic emulsion paint on old concrete surfaces over 10cm girth or width in black & white or yellow & black shade or shade as approved by the AGE (I) with and including preparation of old treated surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in sub base of floors complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 100mm thick plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in floors/hard standings finished the surface even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 60mm thick Factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in hardstandings, drive ways or Light traffic parking etc. of required strength, thickness & size/shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks over the sand bedding layer through vibrator, compacting by using plate vibrator, filing the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 80mm thick Factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-40 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in hardstandings, drive ways or Medium traffic parking etc. of required strength, thickness & size/shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/laying of inter locking paver blocks over the sand bedding layer through vibrator, compacting by using plate vibrator, filing the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F cat eye Solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100x100x20mm, with PAMA striplens reflector, fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instructions fixed in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F solar stud/ Cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65 ) of size 125mmx125mmx25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono-rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete as per manufacturers instructions fixed in repair/replacement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fixing Solar delineator with red blinkers and charged by solar energy, fitted on MS pipe of 50mm dia, duly powder coated, anti rust, fixed on ground on block of size 20cmx20cmx30cm of PCC 1:2:4 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) including necessary excavation and eath work and removal of spoil to a distance not exceeding 50m away complete all as specified and as directed.

Note: The contract amount shall be amended after deduction of credit of Rs. 5620.00 on account of old Material made contractor's property as per Schedule of Credit
