Water proofing treatment on vertical surfaces in the following manner including removing of all the debris out of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge :-
(a) Taking down of existing treatment plastered of wall surfaces of any description ,cleaning of surfaces and washing down for preparation before water proofing treatment of vertical surfaces including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc. (b) 15 mm thick on brick or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:4) mixed with 3% of WPC and finishing the surface even and fair without using extra cement .
(c) Applying a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384 :1986@ 0.40 ltr/sqm (d) Providing with 3 mm thick APP water proofing membrane minimum weighing 3kg/sqm reinforced with non woven polyster matt (wt. not less than 150 gms/sqm) laid on primed surface by using butane torch by torch application with a side lap of 10 cm & 15 cm end lap duly sealed at over laps & joints with flame (by torch application) all as per manufacturer’s instructions.
(f) Finally finished with a coat of bitumastic aluminium paint over the membrane.

Plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in roof padding to maintain the required slope or to prepare gola etc icluding weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including necessary form work in and including demolition of (un-reinforced) cement concrete of any description or as roof padding and coveringg concrete in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and remove all the debris out of MoD land , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning and preparation of roof (RCC/Brick tiles/Cement concrete) surface and made free of dirt, foreign particles, laitance followed by grinding all protrusions to make surface modulated. There after, inspection for cracks on the surface caused by thermal expantion contraction and repairing the cracks after making “V” groove with suitable cutter machine, filled with Repair Morter/General Purpose Grout in the proportions as recommended by manufacturer,. Supplying and applying High performance Hybrid Polyurea elastomeric waterproofing coating cold applied of spray applied liquid membrane with following specifications: (a) Elongation of range 400%-600%
(b) Tensile strength of 8-12 N/mm2
(c) Crack bridging ability of 3.00- 4.00 mm (d) Hardness (Shore’A’, ASTM D2240) of range 50-70
The application shall include final base preparation, epoxy primer application in rato 1:1 (resin:hardner) with 100% water dilution and application of Hybrid ployurea in two coats in 6 hrs interval to achieve total min thickness 1 to 1.50 mm at a total min consumption of 1.5 kg per Sqm . The application/treatment shall be carried out by authorised rep of approved specialist firm/manufacturer ,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. contd/---

The application should be done by company's authorised applicator. Graco sprayer by a company authorised applicator. Company back warranty of 15 years is to be given by company. High performance Hybrid Polyurea elastomeric waterproofing coating of Smart Care Ultron. Resin is one of the components of Ultron Primer, which is two components water-based epoxy system, it is classified as SR-B2, 0 according to EN 13813, having properties like color of pale yellow, viscosity 900mPa.s, density 1.15kg/l and adhesion of 3N/mm2. Hardener is one of the components of PU Magnum Primer, which is a two-component water-based epoxy system, It is classified as SR-B2, 0 according to EN 13813, having properties like color of pale yellow, viscosity 37000mPa.s, density 1.08kg/l and adhesion of 3N/mm2. Makes for item no. 17 to 19:- Asian Paints SmartCare/ Thermax/Grace SIKA/FOSROC /Berger.
Notes for item no. 17 to 19 :-(i) The defect liability period of water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab including sunken floors shall be 10 years and the contractor shall be responsible to keep the entire building(s) free from leakage/seepage for a period of 10 years after certified date of completion. The contractor may obtain a similar guarantee from the specialist firm engaged by him for the purpose. (ii) An amount equal to 5.0% worked out on the cost of High performance Hybrid Polyurea elastomeric waterproofing treatment at contract rates towards guarantee shall be retained out from the Final Bill amount towards security deposit for High performance Hybrid Polyurea elastomeric waterproofing treatment as specified in P. S, Cluase no11.3 of CA.

Cleaning the surface/junction and made free from dirt, foreign particles, laitance followed by grinding all protrusions to make surface modulated. Thereafter, inspection for cracks on the junction / surface caused by thermal expansion contraction. Making of Gola’s at all the corners with Polymer modified mortar(1:4 Cement: sand with 3.5% Acrylic of cement weigth) including finishing with mortar/ Micro concrete/ General purpose grout as recommended proportionally as per recommendation of manufacture. The application should be done by company's , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
