(c) Control panel :- The standard control panel consisting of control cubical fabricated sheet steel construction indoor type suitable for the followings :-

i) Gen set controller microprocessor based multifunctional with LED display for engine water tempertaure, Lub oil pressure, Engine RPM, Engine shut down display , total Hrs run and suitable for protectionagainst high water tempertaure, low lub oil pressure, over speed and battery charger failure.

ii) Digital multi functional meter with LED display suitable to display all electrical parameters of individual phase such as Voltage, Current, frequency, KVA, KW, power factor and having RS 485 communication port complete with approriate CTs and control wiring.

iii) MCCB 4 pole 415 volt AC of suitable capacity all as required complete with copper bus bar all as per standard engineering practice and as per manufacturer recommendations.

iv) HRC fuses for protection as per standard enginering practice and manufacturer recommendations for protection of meters etc.

(d) Electric starter equipment :- The equipment will comprise the followings :-

(i) Maint free Battery duly initial charged & Battery lead of adequate cap Make of battery AMRON/Luminious/Sukam/Mico or as recommended by manufacturer.

(iii) Starter gearing

(iv) Start/stop push button

(v) Alternator/ Dynamo of suitable capacity to charge the batteries while DG set is running complete with auto cut out all as per manufacture recommendations.

(e) Invertor cum battery charger 500 VA capacity suitable to work on 230 volts 50 Hz AC supply system for charging of DG set batteries externally when DG set is in off position.

Note: (i) The engine and alternator shall be factory assembled in premises of OEM for Gen set.
(ii) The Generator set prime mover shall produce sufficient BHP at 0.8 PF with 10% overloading.
(iii) Rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of cable and terminations form Generator to the AMF Panel, with necessary holes to wall including making good to distrbed surfaces so as to match with the existing finishes all as specified and directed.
(iv) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first filling of lubricant oil. (v) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site including of half an hour on 10% overhead in presence of representative detailed by Accepting Officer; including FOL, all arrangements are to be made by the contractor for tests. (vi) The foundation of DG set shall be provided by the contractor as per the latest BS/IS specification and as directed by GE. The cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted by tenderer.

Supply, install, commissioning & testing of diesel engine driven generating set (CPCB 4 +) complete with acoustic enclosure and control system for 12 KW/15KVA output at site, AC 415 volts, 50 C/S, 3 phase 4 wire directly coupled complete with self starting system including accessories, equipment control panel etc as per BS/IS-5514/10002, as detailed below

(a) Alternator 12 KW output at 0.80 PF AC 3 phase 4 wire 415 volts 50 C/S, brush less, self excited, self regulated, screen protected drip proof type with two end shield ball/Roller bearing with damper winding in each pole faces, class 'H' insulation with IP-23 protection and Voltage regulation ±1.5 % as per IS-4722 or BS 2613-1970 all as specified and directed .

(b) Diesel engine :- Diesel engine water cooled and electric start suitable to drive above alternator independently, coupled directly through flexible coupling, multi cylinder four storke, cold starting, 1500 RPM industrial type as per BS-5514 or IS-3046 with electronic governor for A-1 governing suitable to regulate speed of DG set from No load to full load complete with fuel tank of cap as per manufactrer recommendations, fuel lines, exhaust pipe duly insulated with asbestos rope and with support and residential silencer mufflers etc for continuous operation and standard accessories, sump pre heaters etc all as specified and directed.
