M&L for applying road marking strips with water born paint (WBP) having DFT 240 micron (retoreflective), by using fully/semi automatic paint applicator machine (using cold airless spray/striper machine with minimum two spray guns), driven by experienced operater on road surface, including application of high index glass beads @ 300 gms per square metre (TTB1325 Type-III) after cleaning the road surface of all dirt, oil, grease, foreign material etc, in accordance with applicable specifications on bituminous surface/concrete, colour of paint shall be white/yellow/Black/Red or any colour as approved by the GE in consultation with AF Authorities, marking surfaces exceeding 10 cm in width or girth complete all as specified and as directed. Make/Specifications of the Machine to be Deployed : Graco line lazer 3900 with 2 guns and the maximum GPM (LPM): 160(6.0). PSI (Bar):3300(227), Engine CC(hp):120cc and maximum tip size:0.029. Note for Item Nos 1 to 4 : Work shall be executed by the authorised applicator of the Manufacturer/Company and the same be got approved from the GE before commencement of work.

M&L for repairs to existing dummy joints of concrete pavement by Racking out old existing unserviceable sealant compound and back up rod of the joints by special tools like cutting blades/machines, widening the joints by 2 mm by using joint cutting blades of appropriate size straight and smooth edges. Cleaning the joints thoroughly with application of compressed air/vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil vegetation and other debris to make joints clean and dry, applying two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. (a). The Contractor may note that 05 Hours of closed slot is available on every Sunday from 0830 hrs to 1330hrs for execution of items of BoQ pertaining to Runway/Taxi/ Apron. The slot is tentative and can be increased/decreased as per availability by the Airport Authoriities. The work is to be executed to the entire satisfication as per contract provisions and best Engineering Practice. A CPM Chart is to be prepared with available slot and kept on record duly signed by the Contractor and Engineer-in-Charge.

(b). Minimum two JCBs with needle type hydraulic appratus, two air blower for dismantling & taking out the existing dense asphaltic concrete and four Nos of electric dimond cutter with two electric Gen set required to cut the dense asphalt concrete in required shape and size at flexible portion of runway is to be deployed well before the commencement of the work in slots..
(c). All necessary arrangements for working at night (if permitted) during runway closures will be made by contractor without any extra cost to the Govt. including sufficient light arrangements through Gen set. (d). The entire work on each closures is to be executed at two different locations by deploying two teams of skilled labour alongwith T&P required in each shift of 05 hrs. (e) Contractor shall arrange/provide the safety life jackets for all concerned Trademen, labour and supervisor deployed at site. (f) Contractor shall also provide at site the necessary precautionary Sign boards and Flags. (g) All arrangements shall be made to comply the rules/regulatuons of the airfield aurthorities. (h) The quoted rates shall deem to be included for above provisions and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.
