Note : The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same :-
(a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of the materials like Exterior Emulsion paint, putty etc after approval by the GE. (b) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I "Memoradum of Understanding" (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be laible to be rejected.
(c) Use of Scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures.
(d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc and preparation of surfaces.
(e) Work in patches and in narrow / widths, bands, cornices, pilasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary.
(f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes.
(g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery , electric fittings , wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
(h) Sample patch of 10Sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. (j) Guarantee :- The contractor shall furnish a guarantee certificate from approved make in favour of Garison Engineer for the efficieny of the weather proof paint for 5 yrs during the guarantee period.

M&L for Putty of average thickness 1 mm over the plastered @ 1kg per sq. mtr. after scrapping to prepare the surface even and smooth complete and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 Grit or above to make the surface free from dust by skilled labour. Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer instructions and mix it with putty mixer with a capacity of mixing 40kg putty in single go. The putty mixer should have variable speed functioning for preparation of smooth and lump free putty inlcuding M&L for one coat of waterproofing primer and damp-proof primer @ 1 Itr per 100 sq. undiluted to be applied using an airless spray machine of with a flow rate of 2L per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI. Allow 4-6 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats., M&L for applying two coats of oil bound distemper using Airless spray technology with max working pressure of 3300 PSI and capable of operating single spray gun with a max material hose length of 100 ft. The spray machine should be of reputed manufacturer with pro guard technology and capability of tracking pressure and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying distemper should be able to spray in hard-to-reach areas and penetration of distemper on the surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for one coat of waterproofing primer and damp-proof primer @ 1 Itr per 60 sq. diluted with 10% by water to be applied using an airless spray machine of with a flow rate of 2L per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI. Allow 4-6 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats, After priming two coat water based premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon additives, with heat Reflectant property which can reduce the painted surface temp. by 5 degree and gives excellent protection against UV attack with VOC less than 50 gram/ litre as per the LEEDS specifications, Anti Algal properties in two coats @ 1L / 64 sait diluted with water as per manufacturer instructions applied over priming coat with airless spray machine of paint application with a flow rate of 2L per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in both the coats of paint complete all as directed.
