IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION FOR BIDDERS: BIDDER TO NOTE THAT the BSL3 lab building is a single storied building having all walls (internal as well as external) as load bearing walls. The lab is almost 15 years old and any modification in ducting may lead to leakage of the ducting system, which the contractor will have to set right and made leakproof. During upgradation/ rectification work, utmost care must be taken so that the brick walls do not get damaged, which may develop cracks in wall. Any sizable opening on wall must be provided with lintle above before opening in wall is done.

Air Handling Units

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Double skin Once through type air handling unit with 2 mm thick thermal break aluminium profile, 43 ±2 mm thick Puf panel having a density not less than 38 kg/m. Panel shall have 0.6mm precoated G.I sheet as outer skin and 0.6mm thick plane GI inner skin. The Unit shall be suitable for clean room applications with coving inside. The AHU shall consist of fresh air intake louvre, G4 filter, F6 filter, cooling coil section with minimum 10 row deep Chilled water cooling coil, space for humidifier pipe for injection of steam to inlet air, fan section with direct drive Plug fab with TEFC squirrel cage induction motor and HEPA Filter section with filter frame. AHU shall be complete with supply air Aluminium low leakage damper. Fan section & HEPA filter sections shall have Acoustic insulation from inside. Fan section and filter sections shall have service door. AHUs will have following capacities
