Gp Capt Tele: 2641145 / 7860 Unit Run Canteen 12 Wing, AF Chandigarh-160003 12W/CAN/10/P-1 19 Mar 19 --------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------- INVITATION OF TENDER NOTICE FOR SALE OF CONTAINERS / SCRAP MATERIALS FOR FY 2019-20: URC 12 WING AF Dear Sir/Madam, 1. The under mentioned items are proposed to be sold by this URC:- Sl. No Items Approximate Weight 1. The Disposal / Sale of Containers / Scrap materials used for packing of Canteen goods on monthly basis. 3000 to 3500 Kg of containers (including other scrap material). 2. Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of containers / scrap material of URC 12 Wing AF on monthly basis. Sealed tender to reach this unit by 1000 Hours on or before 02 Apr 19. The sealed tender should be dropped in the sealed tender box placed at Main Guard Room, 12 Wing AF. No responsibility will be taken by the unit for delay/non receipt of tenders. Fax Quotations/Telegrams will not be considered. (a) Time and date of opening of the Sealed Tender 1100 Hrs on 02 Apr 19. (b) Cover of the Quotation should be marked as “TENDER FOR SALE OF CONTAINERS / SCRAP MATERIALS OF URC” and addressed to OIC URC, 12 Wing AF. 3. Please quote rates in figures as well as in words keeping in mind the terms and conditions mentioned below:- Terms and Conditions a) The contractor is to collect the empty containers on daily basis from the canteen premise and clean the area also, where the cardboard boxes are lying. No help for the same will be provided by the canteen staff. 2 b) If the empty containers are not collected on the same day it will be disposed off at the discretion of the OIC URC. c) The monthly contract money will be deposited with URC during the month. d) There will be an increase of 10% of the previous contract money on every financial year subject to renewal of the same. e) The contract can be renewed subject to satisfactory work and above increase for next financial year. f) The contract is valid from 01 Apr 19 to 31 Mar 20. g) The contractor will load and take out the empty containers only between 1000 hrs to 1800 hrs in presence of the canteen staff. Items other than empty containers are not permitted to load in the vehicle. h) The contractor should deposit a security deposit of Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand only) before starting the contract. j) URC will not responsible for any fluctuations of market price of containers during the contract period. k) The above mentioned weight are approximately it may increase/decrease on monthly basis. l) URC will not provide any vehicle for carrying out the containers / scrap material of URC and it remains the sole responsibility of the contractor. m) The contractor will go through all the security check subjected by the Station Authority as and when required inside the camp area. n) Any lapse in above terms and conditions will be treated as to breach of contract and lead to termination of the contract. 3 04. UNSOLICITED LETTERS / CANVASSING / POST TENDER CORRECTIONS: Canvassing in any form, including unsolicited letters on tenders submitted or post tender corrections shall render their tenders liable for summarily rejection. 05. RECEIVING OFFICER: OIC URC. 06. ARBITRATION: All disputes differences or questions between the parties prior to touching the subject matter of the agreement or the respective rights or duties or liabilities of the parties under/ or in respect of this agreement shall be referred to the sole arbitration of the Air Officer Commanding, 12 Wing, Air Force or person appointed by him on his behalf and the decision of such arbitration shall be final and binding on both the parties.
