Earth work in Excavaion for road work in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location with in all lifts and lead up to 1000 m (NS)

Preparation of Sub-Grade at cutting portion. Loosening of the ground upto a level of 150mm below the sub grade level, watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Table 300-2 for sub grade construction. (NS)

Providing and laying spreading and compacting Granular Sub Base material compacted layers of natural sand, morrum, gravel crushed stone or combination thereof as per MORT&H specification (by taking 2.88 cum material for 10 Sqm in two layers), confirming to clause 401 coarse graded grading-III as per table 400-1 of MORT&H specification (5th edition), including spreading on the prepared sub grade with the help of motor grader or adequate capacity maintaining the required slope and grade during operation, rolling with road roller 8-10 tone with the grade and cross fall (camber) to be checked and any high spot or depressing which becomes apparent, corrected by removing or adding fresh material, including cost of tools and plants, carriage of material from stacks, templates, barrier, lighting arrangement at night, chowkidar and maintenance of diversion etc complete in all respect as per MORT&H specifications, density of GSB as laid 2 gms/cc & to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
